I ordered this to sit on top of my Fluval Chi aquarium which is what the product is meant for. It’s a solid, well made piece, but it looked a little silly with the plastic plants being on top of the tank. So why am I giving it a 4 star rating? Because it looks great INSIDE the aquarium as a decorative piece. I placed it on top of the Fluval lotus plant I bought, and it fills the tank beautifully…of course I did add a few silk flowers to finish the look of the tank to match my bedroom.

Despite the confusing and mixed reviews I read on this product, its fantastic. It’s for the top of the Chi Tank in the filter compartment. I just gave it a quick wash and popped it on, worked immediatly and looked fantastic. I have the same design item for the internal part of the tank and they both compliment each other perfectlu. Highly recommended to add some class to the tank and far nicer than the horrible pebble basket it comes with.

This is a perfect ornament for the Fluval Chi. As mentioned by another reviewer, it seems that people are confusing two separate items. The “Large Mountain” ornament is the larger piece that’s meant to be placed in the submerged plant box inside the aquarium; the “Waterfall Mountain” is the smaller ornament that’s meant to be placed in the pebble box/topper on top of the filter. The Fluval Chi Waterfall Mountain Aquarium Ornament fits perfectly into the top of the Fluval Chi aquarium. The ornament creates a soothing waterfall and looks great doing it. The LED light located within the aquarium fountain filter is still able to shine through for that elegant calming effect.
The ornament is durable, well made, and looks as real as a fake rock and plant can look.

J’ai commandé cette décoration pour mon aquarium de 25 litres, je craignais que cela ne prenne trop de place mais il n’en n’ai rien et il est très facile de les séparer le cas échéant. Les feuilles sont assez douces et souples malgré leur résistance, mes poissons s’y cachent et s’y repose. Je ne peux que le conseiller.

This is for the top filter of a fluval chi, folks. It does not belong under water. I have three chi’s and one of these in each top filter and I love it. Looks nice and the water is neat to watch fall and it is also quieter.

In the water, this is realistic looking. My only complaint is the hole down the middle. I think that has a purpose for the tank it was made to go in, but I bought it for another tank. Not discounting the rating for the hole, just know that its in the top if you are buying this as a regular tank decoration

Couldn’t have asked for a better, sturdier, and more attractive ornament. My loaches look to pick off the seasoned algae from it and my biggest yoyo loach likes hiding under and behind it. Most ornaments in fish tanks look way too cheesy or unnatural; this ornament will look great in a more rustic,plant-heavy or just natural looking fish tank without the common and pain unsightly spongebob and pirate decor. Wash it off with just water first and gradually bring it down to the tank water at an angle so there is less bubbles and water can get inside the ornament better to prevent floating. Fits perfectly in the middle of a ten-gallon tank.

It didn’t impress me when used as advertised, on the top of the filter device. But it looks great as a fake plant at the bottom of the tank, and my little frogs love hiding under the lower greenery when they need a break.
