Trigger assembly problem .

Wow! After breaking in the clips (tight insertion) and performing a thorough cleaning, this gun hits like a hammer! Surprisingly, it likes the Crosman Premier Domes and Hollow Points. I tried heavier and more expensive pellets with less consistency. The Crosman pellets group at about 1/2” COC at 25 yards. It hits like a rim fire .22! I have .22 spinner targets and this gun will consistently spin the targets as hard and fast as my 10/22. This is the way I wanted it to be. The best part: the price point is fantastic for the accuracy and power. I’d buy another one in a heartbeat.

This is my first PCP and i am extremely happy with it. I used to love springers but i don’t see myself ever going back. This is extremely quiet, no recoil so any scope will work with this without worry about breaking it, and the magazine makes quick follow up shot just by cycling the bolt. I would highly recommend this is you are looking to get into PCP air guns or are just looking for another less expensive pcp rifle

First the good news. It’s a great gun. With a good scope and a sandbag rest I can hit a quarter sized target at 40 yards pretty much every time. Solid 80 shots per fill. Very quiet. Only noise is the internal hammer (loud click) and the ding! when it hits a spinner target.
The bad news. My personal gun arrived in a box which had obviously been opened and resealed with clear tape. The styrofoam packing material in the box had been broken and the parts were loose in the box. Also one of the two magazines was broken. If I had to guess I’d say someone had used the gun for about 20 shots or so and then returned it.
The owners manual is not real good in general and just plain poor when it comes to instructions on how to fill the air tank which brings us to another glitch. The description of the gun on Amazon says it has a ‘quick fill nozzle’ adaptor which is correct. Unfortunately in order to use the ‘quick fill nozzle’ you have to have a separate adaptor to connect it to any of the high pressure pumps I’ve seen on Amazon. There may be a pump specifically made for/by Hatson but if so I haven’t seen it. If you buy the gun and any pump with the standard foster type fitting GET THE FOSTER TO 1/8″BSPP ADAPTOR to go with it.
Now the in between. The magazines. As I mentioned one of the two I received was broken so I was pretty cautious about reading directions carefully and making sure things worked. I highly recommend taking your time and checking the diagrams the first time you load these things. IF you do everything correctly they will feed nicely. Pellets will not fall out of the magazines. The magazines will slide easily into the gun and will block you from firing when empty. To see what happens if you don’t follow all directions and do everything right check some of the other reviews here. Once you get the hang of it they are great. Have patience the first time or two. If you have done everything right you will be able to see the backs of the pellets in the mag feeding around the circle as you work the bolt on the gun.
To sum it up. 4 star gun for me because of the open box/broken mag/non standard connector without adaptor. Could easily be a 5 star gun for you assuming you get the proper adaptor/pump combo to go with the gun and take your time figuring out the mags. I do recommend it.

The packaging had been ripped open earlier and taped back shut. The gun itself showed signs of wear on the bluing …there had been a scope on it. A bipod …The bolt action handle was worn, and the synthetic stock was scratched.

So I need to start with the detractions, first. I bought a new rifle, and I was sent one that had clearly been used before it got to me. It had evidence of optics being mounted on it, the finish was scratched, and so many fingerprints it looked like someone put it back in the box, which had clearly been repackaged, while eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. I try to be understanding, but days later it’s really bugging me. This is not a new gun. To sell it as new is a lie. I don’t like that. If I’d bought it as a refurb, it would have been different. But I didn’t. The description said “new”, and that’s what I paid for. As I said… it’s bugging me. I’m returning it.
Also… if you’re coming from the military or from firearms to airguns for any reason (possibly like me, the need for legal, humane, quiet, urban pest control)… this company tightly controls access to parts (try a search for “Hatsan parts” before you buy…), so rather than making a quick purchase, you’ll find yourself asking a sales rep for permission to buy a part for something you own. I was going to try to forget the used gun being sold for new and add a longer bolt so my wife could try it, and I was told flatly that it was not going to happen. I’m not interested in joining a cult, I’m interested in buying a (new) tool and using it as I see fit.
As of right now, this is what I’m looking at. I really want to like this weapon because I believe the quality is on par with other PCPs, but at a lighter weight. But these are the facts as of today.
