I read many reviews before I purchased my Hisense TV. I bought a 65″ during prime days at quite the deal, at $957.00. This TV does not disapoint. It was easy to assemble and set up. I’m 68 and the base is solid steel. I had my son help me set it up on top of a credenza that I bought especially for my TV in the living room. The remote is simple to use. The colors are vivid. The speed which it streams is great. The clarity is amazing. It was shipped to me without incident and arrived a little earlier than expected. The box was intact and the tv was packed very well. I own 2 Samsung TVs, that I bought last year (smaller but top of the line). This Hisense has great gaming features as well. I believe the performance is actually better than my Samsung. It connected to my Polk audio system without issue. I can’t believe the quality of this tv at the price point that I bought it at. Very happy with my purchase.

Order fulfillment and delivery were a disaster. This 85″ TV was supposed to be in-stock (the 75″ was advertised as a 2 month delay) so I chose the 85″ over the 75″. I would bore you if I fully described the hours I wasted on the phone/chat with Amazon Customer Service concerning multiple ordering issues & shipping delays pushing delivery out 3 weeks. Amazon kept “promising” me a new date and kept letting me down with one excuse after another. Might not sound like a big deal but keep in mind this TV is HUGE and HEAVY and you must be home when it is delivered. If you work from home, good for you.
If you don’t, then you might want to have 3-4 extra vacation days to spend sitting at home twiddling your fingers until you find out the TV won’t be delivered . . . again.
DELIVERY: Like I said, huge and heavy. The box had all kinds of holes and dents. The back of the TV set was slightly damaged by whatever poked the biggest hole (forklift maybe?). It was cosmetic but disappointing for a new (and expensive) appliance. The delivery team can only offer that it wasn’t their fault and left. I signed the delivery “Box Damaged”. Also, the box was so filthy that it left black marks all over our new carpet.
SETUP: Missing parts! More on that later. There’s no way one-person or two weak people could handle. Need LOTS of space to open this box up. It opens like a door and I’ll bet it’s 15ft long when fully opened. You need to keep the box for the entire return window (30 days) so better plan on some storage space (folds back to approx 12″Wx 7L’x 5’H.
Hisense Customer Service: Worse than my treatment from Amazon? Yes. We called their CS because the bolts for the TV stand were missing. After seemingly endless prompts and worthless AI problem solvers, we got a live agent that told us they would not send us any bolts until we gave them the TV serial number at the bottom of the TV. I informed there is NO WAY to see the serial number unless I completely unbox the TV by laying it down flat on the floor. Remember, this TV is HUGE. Best case scenario is they send us bolts (who knows how long that takes) and we either leave this TV in the middle of the floor for that long or try to lift it back up and rebox it? The CS agent basically told us “tough luck”. No serial number, no bolts! Those bolts are probably worth pennies. Terrible. I had to go to the hardware store and get my own.
The TV itself? Sorry, I hate to give bad reviews when the actual TV is this nice. So far, I love it. I don’t need a soundbar and don’t understand why anyone would think the interface is slow. I find it very fast and intuitive. Love the remote too.
If you read one star reviews (like I do) then I hope I helped by getting one message clear: Ask Best Buy to price match (they will) and bite the bullet on delivery. Amazon was a nightmare.

I had Sony for 8 years and it started to jammed and died out, so I buy Hisense U8N after my friend told me about it. I am so excited about the new tv that I just received and couldn’t wait to open it. All I can say is WoW!! First, it is very easy to assemble, it comes with two handles and screws. Just attach the handle on the bottom of Hisense tv with the screws, it is very stable that you don’t need other support for it to stand very still on the table. Then just plug the power to the outlet and it can be turned on easily. Once you set it up, just turn on the power of tv and it comes with different languages that you can choose from, then connect to the WiFi and they will guide you through the setup.
I started watching it as soon as I finished the setup. Hisense U8N that I got just launched this year, it comes in 55”, 65”, 75” and 85”. I got the 55” due to limit space in my living room, surprisingly the size is perfect for my house. The U8N is a 4K TV with up to peak brightness 3000, the model is also miniLED, which gives you a better vision, and brightness when you watch tv or movies. For the old tv that I had, when the bright object appears on the screen, it messed up the contrast, but with miniLED, the U8N gives you a more clarity vision and better color saturation. There is also gaming mode so you can play with your family. Also, the price for Hisense U8N is very good compared to other brands. If you are looking for the best TV with excellent features, just go for Hisense U8N.
