Okay so, looking at all the other reviews I noticed quite a few who were disappointed with this purchase. Usually I don’t post reviews despite being pretty much a daily Prime shopper. So, long story short, this is most definitely the best band for your buck. I’ve used every pump on the market, for the money, this is a really, really good pump. If you want an Eheim, buy one. I’m using this one in conjunction with said pump. Eheim 100 to be specific.
The reason for price variance is of course the longevity of both these products. However, both pumps will need to be rebuilt at some point. When it comes time for my Eheim to be rebuilt it’s worth it. This Hitop probably can just be replaced. The air flow is outrageous, better than my Eheim. But again different pumps. With all the accessories you really can’t go wrong here. I’ve read also disappointed regarding the provided air lines. They are absolutely fine. Remember, nothing mechanical last forever without maintenance. I really, really hope this Hitop lasts me years! If it doesn’t, I’ll purchase a new one. Buy this pump if you’re looking for a quiet, powerful pump with all the accessories included. I actually got more parts than listed.

I did alot of research into the most quiet air pumps that had a double hookup. Seems like I searched forever. I even bought a tetra whisper…I immediately returned that as it was louder than my piece of crap old air pump I was originally replacing…this one works great, is small, and tis tis quiet indeed. Congratulations, you may all rejoice in quiet aquarium enjoyment….;)

I’m extremely disappointed with the HITOP Dual Outlet Aquarium Electric Air Pump. Despite its promises of being whisper-quiet and adjustable, this pump falls short in several key areas.
Firstly, let’s talk about the noise level. Far from being “whisper” quiet, this pump emits a constant, annoying hum that’s impossible to ignore. It’s like having a mini vacuum cleaner running in the room at all times, disrupting the peace and tranquility of my home.
The adjustable feature is also lacking. Despite claiming to be adjustable, there’s little difference between the lowest and highest settings. It’s like turning a knob that’s not connected to anything—it does nothing to change the airflow.
The build quality is another issue. The plastic housing feels cheap and flimsy, and the pump started making strange rattling noises after just a few days of use. It’s like it’s falling apart from the inside out.
To make matters worse, the pump doesn’t provide adequate aeration for my aquarium. The airflow is weak and uneven, leaving some areas of the tank stagnant while others are overly turbulent. It’s like trying to oxygenate my tank with a straw instead of a proper pump.
Overall, I wouldn’t recommend the HITOP Dual Outlet Aquarium Electric Air Pump to anyone serious about maintaining a healthy aquarium. It’s noisy, ineffective, and poorly made. Save yourself the frustration and invest in a better-quality pump from a reputable brand.

I had a pump for my freshwater aquarium that just didn’t have much get up and go. I replaced with this. This was the entire set of everything you need and the airstones are fantastic. Turn up or down with lots of power! Bought a 2nd one to replace a pump in another aquarium that didn’t render this nice.

I got this to enhance the air power to some algae bottles. I was using 2 Nicor piezo pumps that are absolutely about silent. This pumps WAY MORE air than they do but is noisier by far even on the lowest setting, which I don’t use. It also uses more power and gets a lot hotter. BUT IT WORKS! I have it where I cannot hear it in a tall cabinet.

I’ve never used the tubing it comes with,.spend 4 bucks and get real stuff. The motor works fine, not too loud as long as you adjust the airflow using the valve connectors on a hose. When you get the airflow just right, it makes almost no noise. The master black airflow knob doesn’t seem to do anything. Worth $20

I purchased this to go inside my Biorb because the bubbler that was included failed to work. The quality and size are Biorb perfect. It was simple to hook up and the noise is minimal. This was an excellent value and serves the purpose intended.

I have a 20 gallon fish tank with an air pump in it, it started to seem like it wasn’t enough oxygen for the fishes. So I got this dual air pump which comes with air stones, valves and splitters. The instructions are clear, installation was fast and it works magic – very powerful, quiet. I highly recommend this product.
