I have had this machine since Nov. 2017, been running GREAT! At the time, I was not sleeping well. Constantly waking up with a clogged nose in the morning. I did have childhood asthma. My sister has the larger version of this and still works well. The reason why I docked it for value is that at the time I didn’t do much research. I found out there were similar products with HEPA filters around the same price as this one and with equal or greater room size rating than this one. I love the sound when I sleep. But the hum on max can be heard with the door closed. Although my comment about value is still present, not having to deal with expensive filter parts is a plus. All I have to Keep buying is Carbon Pre-filter K and its around $15-25 for a year supply of carbon filters.

Tengo un mes que lo compre y un ventilador ya comenzó a hacer ruido lo que no permite tenerlo prendido porque hace ruido

We use this in our bedroom for white noise to sleep, and because I have pet allergies, and a houseful of pets….
Initially the fan was fine, but after a few months it started to rattle on oscillate going one direction, but I could stop it on the other direction and the rattle would stop, so I just stopped using oscillate. Now it still rattles loudly one direction, but no matter where you stop it, the top fan still clicks and rattles. We’ve tried everything to get it to stop, and it’s been keeping me awake at night for a couple weeks now.
The cleanable filters was the main reason for purchase, and that part is great. Had the noise not started, it would’ve been five stars.
Oh and the bright blue lights on top are terrible if you plan to sleep with it. The low setting still lights the room so we’ve had to cover the lights.

We bought this exact model before for our sons room. Turned out he got allergy related asthma and his nights were horrible. So I had to try it. He sleeps with it right next to his bed on the 2. setting. I guess it’s a nice white noise also. The sleep setting is very quiet though.
At daytime it’s on the highest setting. We had to clean the filter once and it is so easy. Just rinse it in lukewarm water with a little bit of dish soap and let the filter dry.
There was a lot of dirt in the water and our son got better and was able to sleep without his asthma spray again.
Now we bought a second one for the master. It’s oscillating but you can stop that and have it blow in only one direction. I would recommend it for bedrooms. For the living room we have a bigger model.

We really like these air purifiers. They do a great job and the fact that you can wash and reuse the filter is just the best. We don’t find them too loud at all and they really move the air through the room. We would definitely buy this again.

The Honeywell HFD series air cleaners are the best on the market with a permanent filter. I own three different models and they are all reliably outstanding – quiet, effective and energy-efficient. This model is the best-in-class filter for small rooms with a permanent filter.

It’s crazy to think, but it’s absolutely true that this air purifier has been life changing not only for myself but also my son.
My entire life, I’ve been breathing through one nostril. My son too is always congested. Our home is spotlessly clean. Within a week of purchasing this purifier, (and I do run it with the charcoal filter) both my son and I have been able to breathe freely through both nostrils. That’s not just a matter of convenience, my running and stamina have improved and as proof my VO2 level (volumetric oxygen my lungs can absorb) from my fitness tracker has increased by 10 percent.
It all sounds too good to be true, but if you’ve been on the border trying to decide, just do it.
I would not buy another machine because this has a washable filter, and the regular fan speed consumes 4 watts, dleep 2 watts, so it really costs nothing to run versus other machines that you have to buy expensive filters and consume 10 to 15 times more electricity multiplied by 24/7/365.
If there’s something I’d change on this machine as a manufacturer, I would have a memory setting for the last fan speed before powering off and get rid of the useless brightness function and just supply dim lights.
Relax. Breathe in. Breathe out. Enjoy your new life.

It’s really quiet. We forget it’s there sometimes. When we clean it out, we realize how bad the air is. I would suggest getting a bigger size. It doesn’t cover the square footage it claims.

Have it on most of the time. I at least feel less congested in the morning and let sneezy in general. In an apartment with sensitive smoke alarms, this does make a difference when cooking. I wish I was convinced it’s moving more air, but it seems to be doing a good job for the space. The fans are pretty quiet, not silent, but the oscillating motor is getting loud. Going to try and keyboard clean it. I’ve also felt the need to clean the filter a few times cause it was so built up (good it’s getting that out of the air) but it’s still never told me to yet.
