Mamazon –
Great guitar for the price. Tried many nylons over the years and have sent most back. Have not found a nylon string guitar that is so playable and still sounds good through PAs and through several different regular amps (do not own an “acoustic” dedicated amp so cannot attest to that sound). Average about 2 gigs a week at the dive-bar level. Use it solo, in a duo, and with my 4-piece combo and it holds up well. Playing with the combo is when it is best to use an amplifier. Already had the predecessor (the GA35 – despite the numbers it came first) for several years. Bought it used so I could tinker with string height, etc. Now I wanted something brand new. The string height from factory is fine, especially if you are not trying to play leads with lots of bends. Nylon string guitars are not very good for blues-bend style leads anyway. Find both do well at ยผ volume (9:00) and 12:00 for treble and bass then season to taste based on the sound once amplified. Above ยผ volume it tends to get too dirty and yet airy/whiny as if on the edge of feedback. If you want to sound truly studio/professional, look for the saturation pedal that includes session in the name. The DI version is subtle to the player but noticeable to the listener who is further back from the sound source. Have not tried the regular session pedal, but saturation/compression is a magic combination though quite expensive. Maybe ask for one for Christmas if you come from a rich family. I’ve found compression pedals (like the common blue one) to work well too. Not sure what saturation really is – again it is subtle but worth checking out. Regardless compression seems to be helpful for any nylon-stringed guitar when you are performing live.
Cons – 1) Since it is slim-line it is not a loud/tone-full guitar when not amplified. It is loud enough. If you are going to pluck in your home only, you might be better served with a full-bodied guitar. 2) No soft or hard-shell case.
Pros – 1) Slim-lines are great for beer bellies. 2) If you want to be a band leader yet play an acoustic guitar then this is a good choice, especially at the price. 3) Comes with an extra bridge which is always handy.

Lovely narrow neck has helped me after a left hand injury, great for practice unplugged, sounds gorgeous plugged in clean.
Loren Woirhaye –
Sounds alright plugged in but acoustically it’s pretty stiff. Not a bad looking guitar. Notable for its narrow nut and 14 fret to the body construction.

I purchased mine from a music store(not Amazon) if this counts? I needed an inexpensive back up should I break a string during a show or an event I could continue, also easy to transport. A great crossover classical guitar from a Casino or Stratocaster and being a thinline it hugs the body and makes it easy to keep practicing while relaxed on the couch. The electronics are excellent and thru an amplifier you can get a big tone. The look and body are incredible, it’s a work of art. The strap fits on the body ‘unlike’ other classical guitars where one end is attached with a lace on the headstock, another positive! I only gave it 4 stars as the strings are a little high and the neck is a bit thin. Of course it doesn’t play like a $1000 spanish guitar but for the money its a good beginner to intermediate instrument.
