I’m primarily a guitar player who needed a bass so I went to Ibanez and it was a great choice. I’ve got to give props to Pineville Music for getting this to me a day earlier than scheduled and still in the box straight from the factory. It plays perfect and the only issue I’ve had with it was the set screws in the knobs were a little loose but that took me 5 minutes to tighten them. All and all it’s an amazing 5 string definitely worth the money.

This is my first 5 string bass and it sounds really good for the price point. If you want that Fieldy (Korn) clanky bass sound, this is great for that (turn your mids all the way down and lows/highs all the way up and detune a full step down)….or if you just want a clean sound, it’s good for that too. I play mostly newer metal/rock music and this bass sounds perfect for it. The neck is nice and thin and very easy to reach that top string all day. My only little con I have is the body finish. It does scratch very easy and the natural wood color will pop through the black if it’s scratched. Nothing a little touch up paint couldn’t fix though. Overall great bass.

Lo strumento in questione è veramente eccellente, Ibanez, sul rapporto qualità/prezzo, non teme davvero confronti.
È lo strumento che stavo cercando, cioè un basso 5 corde leggero, corpo sottile ed ergonomico, ben bilanciato, manico molto comodo visto che ho qualche problema alle dita della mano sinistra: non potrei aver scelto di meglio con questi soldi!
Il suono è molto versatile, anche se non raggiunge i livelli, ovviamente, di strumenti di fascia di prezzo superiore, ma ciò non toglie che non si faccia apprezzare, le possibilità di regolazione sono molteplici grazie anche all’elettronica attiva.
Il setup, uscito dalla scatola, era quasi perfetto: ho dovuto alzare l’azione perché era troppo bassa per i miei gusti ma, nonostante questo, le corde non frustavano affatto…
Corde di corredo D’Addario (45/130) in perfette condizioni.
Con un budget limitato, ci si porta a casa un signor basso adatto un po’ a tutti i generi e che, sicuramente, strizza l’occhio a chi ama suonare anche passaggi veloci vista la comodità del manico.

Avec cette basse vous en aurez pour votre argent.
Cette basse est agréable à jouer en terme de taille de manche et son jeu de cordes fait le taff.
Les micros sortent de bons sons et sons facile à régler, mais leurs fixations est un peut juste sur le corps.
Dommage que la position en basse actif ne soit pas très performante, très peut de différences en l actif et la passif.
Guitare très légère.
La finition est au niveau du prix.
Alésages fixation manche un peut brut et la peinture semble un peut fragile.
Je reste satisfait de mon achat, car pour se faire la main sur un basse 5 cordes, c est je pense un bon investissement pour un petit prix.
