Having already purchased an Ibanez bass from Amazon, I knew the quality i was getting. At my own fault , didn’t realize the first bass was a short scale “micro” bass. Still sounds & plays great so keeping it. This true SR Dragon’s Eye Burst 5 string is friggin awesome in every way, couldn’t be more satisfied with my purchase
HKN –
The knobs are not really straight angle with the guitar made it looks cheap.
Beside, every thing else are good:
Guitar cable inlet is very impress for holding cable in place.
No hump noise
Matching head stock
About low enough for action but between strings space are good for small hand.

I am a guitar player but wanted a bass for recording. I did not want to have to have a bunch of basses, I wanted one that could do everything I needed it to. So far, this bass has been incredible. The fretwork is smooth and better than I was expecting at this price point. The power tap is an incredible feature and sets it apart from other instruments at this price. It also looks incredible with the quilted maple. The jack is in a very convenient location, and the bass is balanced incredibly well. I would recommend anyone looking for an intermediate bass to take this one into consideration.

This a great sounding and good looking bass, I’m so impressed how light it is too

I cant say how much it hurts to say this as I have been playing Ibanez bass’s my entire musical life. 35 YEARS! ….I have never, NEVER heard a s***ier tone. Absolutley the WORST sounding bass I have ever played. I dont know what the heck they did with this Powerspan EQM GARBAGE but it ruined a great guitar…. WHY DID YOU CHANGE IT?!?!? …..I had to lower the pickups till they are almost flush with the body so I could even get some dig without the stupid magnets grabbing the strings and ticking and clacking all over the place. Feels like the strings are popping off the saddle. Ended up stripping one of the screws off the saddle pickup so now im totally screwed cuz the D and G side is 1/4 in higher and I cant level it!! . I am PISSED off. Threw away $500 bux on GARBAGE!
