The instructions for the lancer was not clear but I finally figured it out. The illustrations are small and faded, so its hard to see what you’re looking at. I wasted a couple of test strips trying to figure out the right way to insert them into the reader.
It seems to work good other than that. But the biggest complaint/downside is that the ihealth google play app does NOT have an entry for this tester, so you cannot record your results on your phone. I have a scale and a blood pressure cuff that I can and do record my results on my phone so it is very irritating that I cannot save my blood sugar results on my phone either.

I am borderline diabetic so I need to start watching my sugar. I use an android phone and the app is on there. It’s VERY easy to use and I can see my numbers on the app. It keeps a history, let’s me choose before or after each meal, my medicine I take and it can be anything. You can insert what you take, for example ibuprofen or meds not diabetes related. You can also make notes for occurance and you can note how many carbs you had. It has a history and gives your average for each week. I love it and it has helped me be more conscious of my carbs and sugar levels.

Bizarre experience with this device. We bought it to monitor my wife’s blood sugar levels. We followed the instructions by inserting a test strip, lancing her finger, placing a drop of her blood in the test window, and then nothing happened. The device stayed on standby as though it was waiting for blood. We ejected the test strip, inserted a new one, lanced her finger again, put a drop of her blood on the strip and same thing. I then tried testing myself and it worked perfectly, giving me a blood sugar level of 53 mg/dL (on the low side of normal). We then tried a third time to get my wife’s reading and it did the same thing again. No reading, just shows that it’s waiting for blood when a drop was already added to the test strip. Very weird.

I bought two of these, and had to return cos the bluetooth doesn’t appear when press and hold, then the battery suddenly dies completely and the device doesn’t work anymore.

Easy to use. I wish the app was more flexible. I often wake up on my own in the middle of the night and take a reading. My only options for labeling are “bedtime” or “random”.
All of the hardware is easy to use. Glad I bought it because I wanted to know if blood sugar was why I was waking up in the middle of the night. Money well spent. Didn’t really need a CGM (Constant Glucose Monitor).

Everything is pretty much self explanatory, I usually have issues with the tech part. It was easy to set up on my phone, directions easy to follow. The best monitor I’ve ever owned, not at all complicated and it’s accurate.

A perfect product in every aspect: It is intuitive and easy to mount and dismount the Glucometer Strip and the Lancet; it works with a well-designed mobile phone app to record and transmit data. Each morning it took me less than 1 minute and a half to complete the monitoring process. It made me go from being afraid of doing this daily monitoring routine to looking forward to doing it every morning. The only worry is that since the lancets and glucometer strips can only come from this one seller if they raise the supplies to unreasonable levels, it could cause headaches.
