Lots of colorful pictures, delicious recipes, QUICK prep-time, affordable and normal ingredients. The only ingredient I didn’t have was arrowroot, which I googled and substituted corn starch. I picked up arrowroot from Walmart so were all set now moving forward. I’ve lost 12lbs in 1 month with using these recipes and the Noom app for calorie tracking. As a single Mom, My girls and I have a hectic schedule because I work full-time, then taxi my kids to sports in the evening so I make 2 recipes on Sunday evening. Then on a morning before school, or during my 30 minute lunch break, I will cook dinner which takes 30 minutes or less. I love that I always have 3 storage containers of fresh, healthy meal choices for my kids to grab. My only complaint about this cookbook which I almost knocked a star off for it, is that it has, NO nutritional information listed, so that makes it frustrating for me because I have to log my calorie intake with each meal. It is extremely time consuming to google similar recipes or try to look up each ingredient independently. Other than that, this cookbooks offers very tasty, affordable, easy recipes and I would definitely recommend purchasing it!

What I love about Brittanyโs cookbooks is they are always easy, simple ingredients and taste like heaven! I am able to eat dairy and wheat and have no food in tolerances I still love each of her cookbooks. This one Hass to be my fave so far though! My husband and children love all the food Iโve made from her cookbooks as well. The flavor combinations and the thought that went into this cookbook is evident! Thank you for working so hard to share your recipes with so many people and change their lives! Itโs a relief to be able to make home-cooked food that is healthy and nutrient for my entire family so that we can save money, eat well and have great health to beat disease, sickness and live a long life.
I recommend these books to so many people! So far we have tried the lemon-tuneric tea (which will be a weekly, quick recipe), vegetable broth, breakfast hash, Greek lemon-chicken soup, lemon-pepper chicken w/ asparagus, no queso-queso (AMAZING!), jalapeรฑo poppers, citrus carrots, cilantro lime chicken, potatoes (canโt remember exact name), plantain pancakes w/ caramel sauce (heaven!) It all has been delicious! Iโve never cooked so many recipes from a cookbook before! And all are so simple! And since most things are in the instant pot my children can cook the meals easily with my supervision.
The last thing I want to mention is the layout of the budget on each page how much she will spend in the weekly menus it are put together for us. I havenโt send the weekly menus yet but itโs broken down so perfectly with grocery list and everything. I also love that the beginning talks about how to swap certain ingredients and things that you might not have or if you donโt have an allergy to but you can swap for something else….for example some of the flours.
I will update as I try more recipes and try to remember to take pics. I keep forgetting. Thanks again for another amazing book… my only question would be when do you start working on book 4? : )

I have been following Brittany for a few years now and I am happy to report that this is the second one of her cookbooks that I pre-ordered, but I own all three! I got it today and I only had a few minutes to look it over before my fifteen year old daughter took it from me and immediately made Brittany’s California burgers from the cookbook for dinner! They were so yummy! This is significant for a few reasons. When looking through the book, we found quite a few recipes that we already had the ingredients in stock. And, did I mention that my 15 year old daughter cooked? She was as excited as I was about this new book! She is a wrestler and is very mindful of her weight and health. While other kids are doing dangerous things like skipping meals and sweating off the pounds, she is focused on JERF and treating her body well in the first place to maintain a healthy weight. I have been talking to my husband and kids (all 6 of them) for a while now about what Brittany teaches in her books and social media, but this book hit the home run for our family!
