Sounds great with Dominants, my new go to E string!

If you need cheap strings go buy these. If you want strings that sound great or if you are incredibly talented who can make a tin can sound like a Stradivarius then buy these.
If you like your hearing and do not enjoy loud whiny sounds then buy a Pirastro Olive (Gold).
FA Cudich –
perfect!!

I’m an intermediate student level player, in a professional level string group. I have a student violin that I like, but the E string has always been squeaky or tinny. The last set of strings I got, the E was so bad I did everything I could to avoid playing it. I ordered this string based on reviews, and I love it. Now the E blends nicely with my other strings. There is no tinny sound, and I actually look forward to the parts where us lowly seconds get to play melody! If you’re having similar issues, it may not be your playing, it may be the strings!

It is a good violin string. The only problem that I had was that it was actually too loud for my particular violin (I have
an 80 year old, Japanese violin). However, this is a preference and I believe not the fault of the company that made the string. I am going to try it on another violin (a Cremona 175 violin) that I own because I think it would actually work for this one since I need a string that can help the Cremona violin sound louder. I would recommend this string if you have a violin that needs to be louder.

This is one of my favorite e strings, although lately it is erratically available. It combines well with many different string combinations for the G, D, and A. Many people recommend it to top off Dominants, making the entire violin sound fundamentally more ringing and brilliant. I have used it with Visions, Infeld Blues, as well as Dominants, and find that it just feels more responsive and open than the native e strings of those sets. It gives my violin a more open and ringing sound, and it lasts a long time, more than a year, where I feel I’m just changing it out because of time, and felt not much difference between a new string and the old one. It never squeaks ever!
It has a nice clear sound all the way up the fingerboard, is great for doublestops involving both the open e and the fingered e string. I think it’s the string for you to play Vivaldi’s Winter.
