Wowzers –
These speakers sound incredible. I use them for everything—composing music, listening to music, watching movies & videos, gaming, etc. and they have been nothing short of perfect for this price. The bass could be a bit more accurate but that’s what a subwoofer is for. And even with that said, the bass is surprisingly accurate for a speaker of this size. I haven’t had any sound issues, and there is no crackle after turning down the volume on each speaker to a reasonable level. I also have to mention that I’m a big fan of the sleek, understated design.
I’m not sure why other reviews mention an annoying startup sound. I bought these thinking that would be the case, but the speakers I received are silent on startup.

Este sub en realidad me aloqué y lo compre, si revisando reseñas pero no creí necesitarlo… Fue por glamour de sonido.
OK, me sorprendió y a todo aquel que lo escucha, inclusive el sonido de mezcla qué hago en mi estudio, toma otra profundidad por que ahora sentir esos graves en el cuerpo.
De verdad que para su tamaño sorprende!!!
Ojo, no esperes llenar una fiesta con el, no es para eso, no es para que tus oídos se tapen de tanta Potencia…
Este tipo de equipos son de referencia, de un audio de rango completo, estos jbl reproducen sonidos muy exquisitos y se disfruta la música, hasta he visto películas y super satisfecho.

Amazing speakers for my pc!! Got these and was happy with the bass but I wanted more so got the LSR10s subwoofer and they’re amazing. Running them off a Fiio K3 DAC/AMP and also bought some speaker isolation pads to put underneath them and they tightened up the bass so nice. Really high quality product. Turned my room into a nightclub with some wall sound panels too haha

While the high-end is slightly soft, that a well balanced system. It provides a comfortable experience during my extended music listening sessions.
However, one minor drawback I’ve noticed is a subtle ‘z’ noise from the tweeters, which persists even when I turn off the input source. This seems a design issue and JBL let it pass the production test. Anyway, this hasn’t been an issue for me as long as music is playing.

I have a set of Yamaha HS8 and JBL LSR305 MKI. The sound of the JBL LSR306 MKII is between the Yamaha HS8 and JBL LSR305 MkI with the relatively flat response of the HS8 minus the 2-2.5kish bump of the LSR305 MKI while retaining very good mid clarity (vocal), good bass response, and rounded off high end. The LSR306 MKII are simply great for listening to music. Use a good desktop DAC with a full, warm, and detailed sound such as the Ifi Zen DAC Version 2 and you are set. Enjoy.

I had a presonus monitor subwoofer before this and it just wasn’t hitting the lows the way I wanted, rattled at low volumes even.
I was actually thinking of returning it because I realized I impulsively bought this thing when I already have a sub. Once I plugged it in to at least try it, I knew I couldn’t go back to the presonus.
If you only have TRS cables you’ll need to get an adapter for the output channels (XLR to TRW) . Input works with TRS or XLR.
I have a pair of Jbl308 monitor speakers with my setup and these are the perfect pair and how it was meant to be. The crossover sounds so damn smooth after adjusting the boundary EQ accordingly. With those speakers the low pass on the subwoofer set to the lowest (80hz I believe) sounds best.
The subwoofer works as a pre amp for the other monitor speakers. As soon as I swapped the presonus sub with this one immediately saw a HUGE difference with my jbl 308 monitor pair. It was much much clearer and louder. I did not even realize how much the presonus was diminishing the capabilities of the other monitor speakers in my setup.
I am producing dubstep/edm and music where sub bass is very important and I need to hear the lowest lows without distortion or rattle. this thing has made it so much nicer to work on it. You can truly hear the sub bass very very clearly, allowing me to adjust the sub bass and add subtle textures/harmonics and really be able to mix/master and do sound design with ease especially with long sustainer sub basslines. Kicks sound absolutely amazing well. Before with the presonus I didn’t get a real good feel for how percussion/kicks sounded… But with this you can really hear the subtle differences.
I was worried it’d be too big to go under my desk but it fits better than the 8″ presonus thanks to the higher placement of cable ports.
No matter what you’re making these are amazing speakers, but I think if you’re making rnb or edm especially music with long sustained bass that needs to be sidechained with kicks, and fine tuned these are a must have. Don’t go with a cheaper option, this is worth the extra money easily.

The low end is very defined consistently, the high end is not distorted at full volume, and the mids are solid. Would recommend to beginners interested in becoming professional

Amazing sound clarity. These are my 1st monitor speakers i ever bought for my home studio setup. I compared to the Yamaha HS5 which sounded a bit harsher in the midrange and not as clear in the bass. I love the JBL’s clarity in the mids and the tight bass. Im not sure about the effectiveness of the trim controls on the back, for now just leave both on 0 as that’s when the sound is mostly flat and balanced to my ear.
Oh and to everyone that complained this listing is a SCAM and that you only get ONE speaker… i had no such problem. Mine came as a pair. Best bang for your buck i think for quality monitors
