This is a simple well-built unit, as you would expect from Kenmore. It is about the size of a small floor audio speaker. The filters are easy to replace and relatively cheap. I really like the particulate readout. Normally, it reads around 3-7, but we put it next to a sofa, patted it a few times, and the number jumped up to 145, then back down in a few minutes. Same thing when toast was burnt 2 rooms away. It’s very sensitive.

About 18 months ago, I bought 3 of the Eden Pure OxiLeaf II Thunderstorm air purifiers. They produced an odd smell at first, but then were fine after a month or so. They worked very well up until a few weeks ago. I debated about buying new ones, but decided to try a Hepa Filter air purifier instead. I purchased this air purifier after reading reviews on Amazon and seeing it make a list of best Air Purifiers. I wanted one that could take care of the downstairs area. I was initially skeptical when I first turned it on. My air quality was registering at 002 which is “Very Good.” I have 2 indoor large dogs and 3 indoor cats so I wasn’t expecting “Very Good” which made me doubt that the reading was accurate. Even before the Air Purifier, I didn’t notice a dog smell in my house unless it was a rainy day and the dogs get wet while going to the bathroom outside so I am looking forward to a rainy day to see if the wet dog smell still happens. Yesterday, I made the kids some quesadillas and noticed the air quality went up to 009 and then after about 30 minutes it was back to 002. Today my husband cooked some eggs and bacon…I hate when breakfast meats are cooked in the house because of the all day lingering smell. There was the typical grease smell in the air. I checked the air quality reading and it was 054 which is “Fair.” The smell went away much quicker than usual and within less than 2 hours the air quality was back down to 002. For reference, I have a 3000 square foot house with the first level being an open floor plan and a two story foyer. I think this one unit is working very well for the entire first floor. I will probably be buying another air purifier for the master bedroom area. The noise it produces is similar to a floor fan on low/medium. I really only hear it if I am in the same room as the air purifier. The noise doesn’t bother me at all…I find it soothing, but I am a person who likes sleeping with a fan on all year because of the noise. I can’t speak to the Sleep Mode. I haven’t used it.

Super simple to use and setup. I don’t have to guess when to replace the filters or have to listen to heavy noisy fans trying to push air around. Low white noise in the background. Huge improvement in air quality. Currently have it setup in my master bedroom. I’ll be ordering another for my living room next

I bought one and then two more because they worked so well. The cleaners have a particulate display that I believe works. Mowing outside or a cat entering the room bumps the numbers up. Very pleased with the purchase. The automatic mode changes the fan speed a bit too much so I just set the fan level to 2 and that is quiet and effective.

Love how effective and sensitive this small unit is! I should add that it is very quiet and works quickly to clear the air of pollutants. My better half has asthma issues that needed a really good air cleaner and i am happy to say that this unit was helpful right out of the box doing our large living area within 25 minutes. He now has less attacks inside our home and its also helping eliminate my pollen and dust allergies! The air is so fresh and clean inside our home now and consider it money well spent. We are extremely happy with this hard working unit!

I’ve had the Kenmore air purifier for about 2 months now and love it. The display is great, tells you how bad or good your air is, displays room temperature and humidity. Pretty quiet when on low setting. It removes all smells quickly and is truly a great unit. I highly recommend it for its great value and performance.

I purchased this unit in December of 2023. The unit worked properly for a short time, but then after shutting it off while being gone I went to turn it back on again and nothing happened. The red “standby” light stayed on and the unit failed to start. I tried for a couple of weeks to start it and finally called customer service. I wanted a refund but they insisted I take a replacement unit. Guess what? The second unit refused to start at all! I called customer service again and after sending in all the documentation again never heard back for 4 months! Finally I tried calling the individual and my calls were not returned. I then sent her an email saying I was going to report this to the Better Business Bureau, Amazon, and my credit card company. She emailed me back and referred me to another number. I called, was put on hold for 15 minutes, then received a message that the mailbox was full. I guess I am out the cost of this unit plus I have to pay to dispose of the 2 unworkable units. This is the worst experience I can ever recall having with a company!!

I like the size and airflow capacity. On auto after the initial air exchange it runs quite quietly. I like that it is Energy Star certified for efficiency. So far no issues. It comes with two filters, one for each side of the purifier. Replacement filters appear decently expensive, but the longevity of these filters is fairy good.
