I have a 4 runner Toyota and the radio quit working! I researched and this was the most reasonable for my 25 year old car! GREAT,

Great audio quality and easy install. Perfect function on the first try. My only qualm is the volume maxes out at 34 and it’s not easy to tune around it without distorting the quality at lower volumes. Other than that is is fantastic for the price and a must have for any budget audio system.

I didn’t want a touchscreen and I didn’t realize they actually had one of these that was Excelon, so in case any of you were wondering it does make a difference so after going back and looking again, I did find one of these. I believe I did anyways and I’m not totally unhappy, but I do notice a difference, but I just wanted away from the touchscreen so badly, but I went for this and it was half the price of the other one. It looks just like this that is an excelon model, And Not knowing if there was really a difference, I would’ve gladly paid that Higher price for A higher level of sound quality, it’s not huge, but it’s definitely there.

Definitely love this radio! I had to replace the radio that came with the truck after breaking the knob off. This radio is so easy to use, sounds amazing and the added features are amazing!

I love my kenwood. As you can tell it’s very colorful and I customize mine. It definitley makes my 12 inch skar subwoofer hit much harder then my JVC. It was easy to install, and hooks up to my bluetooth right after I turn my system on. It was worth it being my JVC volume went bad and I need to replace it! I think I made a good decision.

Works perfectly. Wiring a little different. Will have to purchase a bezel to fit your vehicle

only gave 3 stars even with no problem with the product but the delivery company they use is garbage. They Use Dragonfly courier and have nothing but problems with them. They sent package to wrong address even with proper address on package

Way too much useless control ! I mean come on what kind of vehicle, what kind of speakers, etc and all operate from the same knob as volume ! Why ? So when adding or reducing any attribute requires searching thru menu . And everything is done without control of the volume ( in order to control volume you have to hit exit button 2-4 times to get back to Home Screen . And whatever you do don’t hit a bump in the road with your hand on volume control ! That will cause you to push in volume knob and take you to search menu where you have to push exit 3 or 4 times to get back to the Home Screen Ugh! . It does sound pretty good though. But has very low preamp output voltage ( Like 2.4 volts ) when most aftermarket amps need 4-6 volts. So I threw in a line converter to bump up signal voltage to amps & Active subs. I wasn’t looking for a miracle for $180 bucks I guess I just expected a little too much. Don’t get me wrong this unit has tons of features for it price, but in my opinion it’s to busy with options and not enough control. Give me a knob for volume, balance ,F/R fader, bass, midrange, treble .and forward arrow and reverse arrow to tune in stations then you can operate the system without having to take your eyes off the road to read system menu to add some bass to a song

This radio head fits all the requirements. It’s easy to use, can be tuned in several different ways and sounds amazing! It has a microphone so when you use it for calls you can easily be heard. There’s several colors for customization to match you cars interior lights too. It’s a great price and then of course the reputation of Kenwood is hard to beat. It feels solidly made and looks amazing. The bluetooth sync is a snap and connects automatically. I’ve used it for about a month and have zero complaints. This is ideal to upgrade an older car to bluetooth capabilities.
I didn’t play any music on the review because I’m not sure of the copyright rules.

Not much to say, it’s a great budget stereo. Of course you don’t get all of the features you might want, but for the price you can’t beat it. I was easily able to install myself with an aftermarket cord and some soldering. Sounds great and looks nice.
Samantha Richmond –
Great product and works great and sounds great and bluetooth is easy to use.
And fit with the right brackets and a good value.

What more can I say? I not a fan of touchscreen controls. So I was so happy to find this double DIN unit. It is easy to use. I love the clicky buttons and “old school” LED display. The Bluetooth works great. This Kenwood makes the factory speakers really pop! A real improvement over the 12-year-old Factory unit. I’m now sorry I waited for the Factory unit to die before replacing it.
Installed to 2012 Tacoma using Scosche trim panel and Tacoma wiring harness. (This unit includes 16-pin ISO connector wiring.). I needed some help from the good folks at Tacoma World forums to figure out the Tacoma wiring. And an adapter module to convert the three wire analog steering wheel control signals to single-wire Kenwood signal. (I used and ADS Maestro unit.)
Tip: Check for trim fitment gaps using a backlight before installing. Use felt and/or black hockey tape to cover gaps from behind.
