Good size products for the price, smells great.

I love the fragrance of the shampoo and conditioner. They have a spiced vanilla scent that is warm and sexy. The shampoo is really thick and luxurious and works up into an amazing lather. A little bit goes a long way because of how concentrated this is and you may decide that you want to dilute it with distilled water to avoid using too much. I leave the shampoo in for a few extra minutes. It rinses out well and leaves my hair feeling clean, but not stripped like some shampoos.

The conditioner is also concentrated and for my shoulder-length, fine, curly hair, I use about a dime-sized amount and work it through to the ends. The instructions said to apply it generously. I did that with a quarter-sized amount the first time, way too much. I leave this on for a few minutes while I wash my face and let all those nourishing oils work their way into the hair. This also rinses away leaving my hair feeling smooth and soft.

The real star of this set is the leave-in hair treatment. Like most of these types of products, it has a fruity smell, but it’s not overwhelming and it doesn’t linger. When my hair is dry, I still smell more of the shampoo and conditioner than I do this. But wow the magic this does. It really absorbs quickly into the hair and scalp. I apply it and then blow it out with a curling brush blower. My hair is soft, shiny, manageable, and looks absolutely gorgeous. I’ve only been using it for a week, but I’m hoping that the UV protection will help protect the color of my hair. I fade every summer from dark blonde to washed-out dishwater blonde.

The price on this is truly a steal. If you were to purchase all these items separately from L’Anza’s website, the retail value is $142.00 US.

My type 4A curly hair really drank these products right up. Most shampoos are pretty basic no matter how expensive. This one is NOT basic. It has almost as much slip to it as good quality DEEP conditioner. That is super necessary for my very curly, very frizzy, type 4, high porosity hair.

The shampoo did not tangle my hair at all which is highly unusual because shampooing for me is usually a tangly nightmare — so much so that I shampoo my hair in chunky twists to minimize this most wash days.

The conditioner is extra decadent, thick, creamy and slippy and great for finger detangling. It left my hair feeling really silky and not frizzy and dry (which is my constant struggle).

Both products smell absolutely delicious. As a matter of fact, they smell so good that even though I did an apple cider vinegar rinse after shampooing (high porosity help), there is no trace of that scent left in my after conditioning at all (THANK GOD!).

These products are a little bit on the expensive side for someone with as much thick curly hair as me because I use a TON of product every wash day to saturate my fine, dry, high density strands. I will say, though, that I only needed the tiniest bit of shampoo for a full lather both times so that will last a while. I would gladly repurchase all of these products on any decent sale repeatedly and at full price when my budget allows. They are really that good…

Another note, my hair was shedding pretty badly from the clarifying shampoo I used first because I had a ton of product buildup after 9 days and wanted to really see what these products could do without other products in the way. But, clarifying shampoos are hard on high porosity hair. Using these products (both shampoo and conditioner) literally stopped the shedding during my second wash and condition. So, they do what they advertise. They genuinely increase the health and strength of your hair.

I used the oil to seal my moisturizer/leave in and it has the same scent and left my hair feeling shiny and strong. I can’t wait to see if the results of this set increase with each wash day. If they do, I might have to save my pennies for more of everything in a couple of months!
