Amazon Customer –
The light fixture is substantial and heavy duty; perfect for withstanding the elements! It’s a very understated profile style that works well in any garden. I’ll be ordering more in the future.
Amazing that this product is a Prime item that I ordered on Saturday late afternoon and was delivered the very next day on Sunday.

This is really good light for lanscaping. The transformer used is the most important. I bought a good one and my neighbor bought a cheap one. He replaces lights every few months. Mine have been in operation for over one year now without a single replacement. Good light with good transformed equals good system.

Great choice for an uplight, but don’t put them where you’ll look at them in the dark. The 50 watt bulbs will nearly blind you. That said, if you put them in the right location, they really stand out. Would really like to find replacement parts for this light such as the 2 large O-rings that help to keep moisture out and new lenses (because they get cloudy with age, judging from my older ones).

These lights are well built and last for years. I own one that is about 15 years old, and it still works just fine. The construction is solid metal and glass, and does not leak. The halogen bulbs last a long time, and are easy to replace.
When I needed to replace a light made by a now-defunct company, I replaced it with a cheaper plastic light that cost about $20. The thing kept getting a short and blowing the fuse on my transformer. I have learned my lesson and will now only buy quality lighting from companies like Kichler.

I’ve had these same style lights since 1995, and I’m happy to see they are still available!
I used to design low voltage lighting systems, usually using these uplights from Kichler and sidewalk lights from another company. I’ve always been satisfied with how well these hold up, how attractive they are , and yet how they blend into the landscape. I vary the look of the lights by matching the object to be lighted with different wattage and beam spread of bulbs. And I always use warm white LEDs now.
So I’m doing the new house in AZ, and using all my old ones plus the new. (Even the old ones that I hit with the lawn mower- they’re still good!) Only difference is the ground stake…Kichler went to the large plastic stake some time ago. I’ve kept some slender but heavy metal ones to use. Any gardener will tell you that it’s often very difficult to work around plants and tree roots with the big stakes. So, that would be my one complaint to Kichler. But kudos to them for a sturdy and lasting product!

Very happy with this product. I installed them for uplighting around our trees 3-4 years ago. I was ready to install some additional ones and found the same model on Amazon. I have found the fixtures to hold up over time and sturdy. Obviously I would like it if they were a little cheeper, but I guess this is what quality costs. I have had zero issues and this year was the first year I had to swap out lights. Obviously I ordered them again, so that says something about my opinion of this product.

Quick delivery with Amazon Prime. Solid construction. Complete kit made it easy to add on to my current landscape lighting. I really like the professional connection devices. They are more secure and easier to install than what my landscaper used
Rick –
easy to install and works great

I bought this spot to replace an existing one, and it seems to match my other fixtures well. It was easy to install and used two wire nuts with silicone sealant inside. Today I also installed 2 Kichler path lights to replace broken ones in my current landscape lighting. Really odd, all three of the new Kichler lights had different connections. The spotlight had the silicone wire nuts, one of the path lights had the round disk quick connect thing, and the other path light had two weird plastic clip things that almost resembled small hair clips. They all seemed to work, but it’s odd that Kichler hasn’t decided on one connector for all of their landscape lighting. I did buy two of the fixtures at different times, so that could be the answer.
