Yes this is slightly rougher than a loofah, but my main negative for these 2 items is that they are a sheet of material. I somewhat expected it to somewhat be sewn into a type of shape, or something that looks like effort of presentation. It’d like a large wash cloth that is rough and just isn’t impressive. As for exfoliation it does do it a little better than a loofah, but as a guy I don’t really notice if it does anything but figured I’d try it. If you are looking for a rougher surface you will likely enjoy it but it’s up to you if you think they should have made it a design instead of just folded fabric.

Would not buy it again. It is much thinner than any I have purchased previously. It’s wider. After using it the first time, the hems fell off, so no it is beginning to unravel. I think it Will exfoliate, but not last long. Must be why you get 2 in the pack.

So, if you’re like me and suddenly your back itches like mad in winter time, this definitely knocks down the alligator skin you may not realize you have. I started to notice the roughness on my back and former love handles. A little soap and some sanding with this and it really helps, particularly if you have someone put a good lotion on afterwards. You might have to contort around a bit to get the upper center of your back, but once you get the hang of it, this thing is perfect. Don’t forget the soap, definitely not the same experience without it 🙂

I love these for cleaning my back and head (I’m bald). It really exfoliates loose skin. For example, I shave my head… afterwards I used to get a bit dry skin and sometimes some flakiness. Using these has really smoothed my skin.
They are far rougher than others that I’ve bought… so if you have sensitive skin you may want to get a lighter version. But… for me that are awesome.
