Awesome deal on amazon warehouse. I love taking gambles with storage, they tend to usually work. Stress tested this for two days, no errors. Using it as my main drive, very little difference between the samsung pro’s, crucial, western digital, and sandisk. They all work great, but for a drive this size, it makes it easy to store games on your main drive without overthinking it.

I have a desk top computer that I can install only 1 HHD. I like having a small SSD supported by a larger STD HHD. I could not do that in this case, so I decided to go for one large SSD. The price is higher this was, but I chose to go for 1 large SSD. Seems to be going well.

this SSD (like all other SSD’s) was super easy to install. I just put the game AC: Valhalla on it and it boots up the game instantly, load screens dont last over 5 seconds. TONS of space on it, which is great when games like CoD take up almost 500GB. Also this SSD is pretty damn DURRABLE, i dropped it out of my lifted truck out of the packaging on the black top and it didnt harm it at all (believe me, i was scared though). This SSD was 100% worth my money.

El artÃculo vino en perfecto estado de embalaje y protegido la instalación fue genial pues debido a mi portátil pes fue fácil de hacer el disco es bueno y del que estoy haciendo referencia esta muy pero que muy bien tanto en capacidad que es el que compre la marca pues ya aviendo utilizado otro disco de la misma marca y me fue perfecto durante toda la vida útil que me duro el propio portátil yo recomiendo tanto el disco de su capacidad como la marca 100×100.

Great SSD. Not superfast but decent speeds for my needs. I am using it with a drop-in external Sata HDD enclosure.
Getting speeds as expected. Build quality is nice. Only thing , cannot find how to register it on Kingston website.

I installed this drive in my PS4 Pro. I was waiting for a reasonably priced drive to hit the market with more space than the standard 1TB 5400RPM HDD that came stock with the console. First thing you notice is how light and thin it is. Since it is not 2TB and it’s 1.92TB, Kingston can charge a bit less than the competition. The PS4 Pro has a bottleneck with regards to speed so you don’t need the fastest SSD, just a SSD is fine. Kingston even has a YouTube video with step by step instructions on how to swap the drives. Overall, an excellent value. My console feels twice as fast now and has much more storage capacity.

My OS is MAC and I have 2 External Sabrent eSata Hubs. One Hub is for 2.5 SSDs only and the other is a full size 3.5 Mechanical size drive eSata. So you can plug either size drive in. I have assorted External HDs and I use these SSDs to keep saving the data off those main drives because they will get old and fail and I’ve already lost 2 HD’s with about 10 TB of Data loss. I like Samsung SSD’s as well but their price is rather high. I found the Kingston’s work great so I have more of them. I just plug them into the Sabrent Hubs and Format them. The Hub has a power switch so I turn them on when I want to do a data dump maybe every 2 weeks or sooner. Then Eject Drive and turn Hub power off. They remain there until full then I remove the SSD and store it in dual plastic case holder I got from Amazon. They are multicolor and come in 3 or 5 packs. I put a Dymo Stick on label on the SSD to mark it. I create a Storage Directory using Print Window App for Mac and store a copy on the actual same SSD as well as my main System Desktop file, so I can look up stuff fast. I have not used them for gaming only storage and since they’ve been great I stick with a good thing. The price is more feasible and the reliability has been great.

Ich habe die Solid State Disk Kingston A400 mit 2 TB Speicherkapazität am 22. August 2020 für 174,90 EUR bestellt und bin mit ihr voll zufrieden.
Ein kleiner Kritikpunkt war, dass ich kein SATA-Kabel mehr für sie übrig hatte und deshalb zwei weitere Tage auf die Nachlieferung warten musste. Ein kurzer Reminder der Foirm „ans SATA-Kabel gedacht?“ von Amazon bei der Bestellung wäre hier genial gewesen.
Die SSD fungiert in meinem Gaming PC als Stauraum für Audiosoftware. Die bei der Musikproduktion anfallenden Dateien sind mit vielen GB sehr umfangreich und verlangen gleichzeitig nach einem schnelleren Speichermedium als Festplatten. Umgekehrt ist der Performance-Bedarf aber auch nicht so gigantisch, dass es sich lohnen würde, in die 7 mal so schnellen dafür aber auch 2 mal so teuren Samsung-SSDs zu investieren. Die Kingston-SSD damit für mich ein optimaler Kompromiss.
