Is CNN filter will increase your horsepower slightly because it allows air to flow more easily. More air means more fuel which equals more power. I like the fact that it can be cleaned and reused over and over and over again. You will spend money on the cleaning Kit to clean these filters, but overall over the life of your vehicle, you’re going to save money by having this reusable filter.

It’s a solution that uses the factory air box while adding the benefits of a K&N filter. My only negative: I purchased for around $100 and a couple weeks later saw the same item for around $80 so too bad that I paid more than I could have.

I like that it was super simple to install. And that my vehicle responded very well to the change. I was at 15.9 miles per gallon, forever. I’m at 17.1 miles per gallon now. This is my first filter, but I have cleaned and recoiled my girlfriend’s filter. Pretty easy to do, I just keep a spare regular filter for the days when I’m having the k&n dry. Warning: the clips non the airbox are a little tricky to reattach You need to press the clip in the middle, instead of the top like most would think.

The first one out lived the 10 yr guarantee! By 2 yrs! And I got 260k miles out of it! On my 2011 mazda 6, 6cly Sports. Replaced caused I noticed a few small holes at one end (when it was time to clean it again) had developed in the cotton.. love these ! They improved engine horse power and saved me money over time!

Used on my Explorer, have the cabin filter also. Love that they work well but mostly washable. These are not cheaply made. If they were available for 2020 Edge I would buy for that vehicle too.

En lo personal he tenido buena experiencia con este filtro, en mi caso sí me ha dado un mejor rendimiento de combustible en aproximadamente un 3%. Además la instalación no presentó problemas.
Si más adelante existiera alguna novedad la haré saber por este medio pero hasta el momento muy bien y la entrega muy rápida.
