Love this sleeve. Driving fields all day and the amount of weeds, fuzz and crop trash that this sleeve catches is perfect. Saves cleaning my main filter alot.

I’ve ran K&N filters in everything I own,and have been running them without any troubles from them whatsoever in the past 25 years,or so that I’ve been using them…On my atvs I run an outerwear over the K&Ns with zero troubles,or issues even though some of the filters are 5-7 years old,and have many hard hours of nasty,dirty,muddy usage…K&N provides much better filtration than any of the foam element type filters along with our many dyno proven runs of better air flow on both stock as well as highly modified engines…They also require less cleaning,and maintenance than the foam types which once they get a layer of dirt on them they cut way back on air flow,and engine power,and efficiency goes way down drastically while the K&N keeps right on providing exceptional performance,and filtering,performing just as well when dirty…

As a tip, I had to use a heat gun for a few seconds to make the rubber pliable to fit it in, otherwise it looked like they were the same size diameter. Once it was in, it worked as it should. I am happy that it is washable. Buy the K&N oil and cleaner package, you’ll need at least the oil. Was installed on 06 Honda Rubicon.

I test ran my 2016 Honda Rancher 4×4 ES 420 without the K&N by running it as hard as I could with the stock foam filter so I wouldn’t be imagining anything and then installed the K&N Ha-5000. First thing I noticed was the slightly louder intake. So I took it to the same spot and did the same test run as hard as I could run it and I noticed a pretty significant difference in throttle response and (without trying) as I shifted from 1st to 2nd gear did a small wheelie. That was something I really didn’t expect. Overall, great filter more throttle response for sure. As far as horsepower being freed up, not sure. Seems like it. I’d say it’s worth the price.

One review said the K&N HA 5000 air filter didn’t fit 2021 Honda pioneer 700. That worried me! Called K&N, they verified it would fit. Received filter in the mail, noticed the K&N filter flange was smaller than the air box flange. I was pissed, that review was right. I finally read the instructions (like any good American). The K&N filter flange goes inside the air box flange. The stock Honda air filter flange goes on the outside of the air box flange. Gotta love those instructions. The K&N filter is much easier to clean and oil than the stock filter. Good product.

Was a very tight fit for k&n air filter on 2003 Honda rincon. Hope this holds up well, such a high price for what seems to be very little.
