Got this for my granddaughter as a christmas present. She put it aside and left it for a while. Till we went to the zoo and wanted to get some pictures off her phone. Set it up and it was super easy to use and the prints came out great. You don’t get much film but it is easy to come by and the quality is the same as what comes with the printer. Works off a computer also. Even used it on the MAC and a Windows 10 PC. Going to try it off a profession camera next. Have to wait cause we are out of paper again. She likes it now and not happy that everyone is borrowing it and not returning it. Hmmm…. May have to get another or two.

Super easy to use. Need wifi and an app that you download via a QR code that comes with it. Good picture quality. Use good photo paper and a good image for best results.
Edit: I kind of changed my mind on this… more like a general observation really. We bought this for our kids for Christmas because we have so many pictures of them (5&8yrs) and then they started wanting to approve the pictures, which they always did but just wanted to see them before we put the phone back in our pocket. Then they started taking photos of their own on our hand me down phones and showing a real interest in photography. The printer to them means nothing, sorry Amazon, they just don’t have any relationship with tangible photos; my wife and I do; we thought it would be cool because to us at that age it was cool. Now it is not. Don’t buy this for your kids, maybe teenagers are different, but for us this is the case. It still is a great printer.

I bought this to do a Santa picture event; I was just so happy with the app, which is funny bc those were the only bad reviews I seen. I don’t think the app is confusing at all, it’s pretty awesome. You can edit pics, add frames, backgrounds, themes, etc. They even had holiday frames which made it so perfect for what I bought it for. My test pic, the quality is so good I can see every blade of grass and hair on my pig lol. My only issue…the ink is all out of stock and literally every where 😭

This printer is both surprisingly good but also disappointing. The print quality is fantastic – the photos look like professional prints, they’re great and they don’t take too long if you’re not trying to print a million.
The bad thing is that this printer can only be accessed through the required app. This means not only will it not work with a laptop, but you’re bound to whatever the app can access. Right now, that’s just the phone’s photo library. No dropbox access, which is really the most frustrating for me. Also it feels like this app was designed in 2003 by an underpaid college student, it’s one of the worst looking, clunkiest, least useful apps I’ve ever had the displeasure of installing on my phone (iPhone 12 Pro Max).

Durchaus vergleichbar mit den Fotoautomaten der Drogeriemärkte, wir sind sehr zufrieden.

My wife had been using her main printer to print numerous pictures, which we all know, uses a lot of ink. Expensive Ink. She needed something better. Research begins. I looked at all the options we had and balanced it against what we needed. After reading many reviews, I decided to purchase this Kodak unit. When it arrived she set it up and was printing in very short order. It is interesting to watch it do its thing as it prints each color individually. I was worried that it may miss a boundary or overlap but it doesn’t. The quality is what I would expect of having my prints done at a store. It takes about a minute to print each picture.
The cost works out to about $.50 – .55 a print. That depends upon where you source the ink/paper packs. The print kit comes with 40 sheets and one cartridge. That’s it. 40 prints per cartridge. For its size, I am good with that. There are multi packs available as well.
Though a little on the noisy side, (not so noisy you can’t hear your self think or carry on a normal level of conversation) it is well worth the money. And it is completely portable!! Your phone or device hooks right to it!
If you decide to take the leap, you will not be sorry you did!

Amazing photos, easy to use
The only think I don’t like is after 5 prints, it has to cool down and has to cool down after every print after that but totally worth it!

Like me, you probably bought this for the convenience of :
1: Take a picture on your phone.
2: Inside the “gallery” or “photo viewer” of your particular phone, whatever kind of phone you have, use the “PRINT” feature that all phones made in the last decade or so come with.
Well, you can’t. That’s not the way this printer works. The printer isn’t a device on your home network. You have to hook this printer directly to your phones wifi, which means kicking your phone OFF your home network.
So, if you can’t get the printer to connect to your phones wifi, because of whatever baloney reason the printer doesn’t want to, you have to connect it via the DOCK or a USB cable. Then it wants a FIRMARE update… cool.
Then, while docked and updated, there’s no actual “print” button, just an image of a printer. Then it prints… if it can find the paper, which took me 5 minutes of begging it to see the stack of paper I loaded, which it finally did. And then it printed a really nice picture of the family dog covered in sand like I assumed it would do within about 30 seconds of it coming out of the box.
Also, the “editing” software within the app is terrible. It seems innocuous, but the cropping function, which is the only real thing you REALLY NEED TO WORK, doesn’t. It’ll take you five or six attempts at “cropping” to get the actual part of the pic you want printed to be centered.
Then you hope that now that you’ve printed something, maybe the wifi part will work… NOPE. The printer is connected to my phones WIFI, and the APP will not find the printer. Just flat refuses. So then you hook it up via USB cable, which it finds instantly and prints another really good pic of a day at the beach. So there’s hope, but it doesn’t include the main reason I bought the thing, which is easy-peasy wifi printing… at that, it completely fails. If I can’t figure it out in the next 20 minutes or so, it’s going back in the box and straight back to Amazon and I’m gonna take the time to actually email Kodak customer service and tell them that this is the second time they’ve let me down (first was when they canned their picture frame servers with no way to pull any of the photos off the server or off the frame… and now a wifi printer that isnt’. 1 star because it’s printed two decent pics, but the interface is bad, the cropping function is terrible, and the wifi doesn’t work at all, let alone the way you thought it would when you bought it.

Finally used this printer and it was totally sweet, the total print takes 1 min and you can literally see the layers being applied highly recommend. Fantastic quality definitely a good gift

This was a Christmas gift for my 89 year old mom because she wanted to be able to print photos off her iphone so that she can paint them. It took me two times showing her how to use it and she can easily select her photos and print away. The quality of the photos is beautiful.
