Ich wollte ein Schloss, welches man nicht durch den Reifen ziehen muss oder welches 3 Jahre zum Anschließen braucht. Mir war dabei die Sicherheit am wichtigsten. Man kann es super einfach an der Roller-Stange befestigen um es immer mitzuführen. Stört nicht und für meine Zwecke sehr sicher (ich habe dabei die Sicherheitsstufen des Unternehmens berücksichtigt). Es ist ein wenig schwer, aber wenn es dafür meinen Roller schützt, stört mich das nicht.

This is a tough piece of kit and big enough to secure the bike to the stand. It’s really heavy though. Fine for my e-bike but would be too heavy to lug about on my mountain bike. That said, you can feel certain that no thief is going to take the bike and if they do, the lock has insurance( there is a fee)

For starters, this lock is tested for a gold security rating, which is critical if you have a valuable bike and if you were to park it in an urban area.
Moving onto the quality, the entire lock is covered with high-quality rubber, and all moving parts is well designed and calibrated. The lock mechanism is smooth and feels premium.
The lock is longer than conventional U locks, which is useful when u have an E-bike. It also has a good amount of weight to provide with you extra reassurance.
Finally, the mountain mechanism is a little bit tricky to get on. I consider myself skillful with my hands, and yet it took me about 10 minutes to install. This might be a dealbreaker for you if you’re not confident in your engineering skills.
Overall, I strongly recommend this product and you can always give the mounting hardware a try before you skip the next product.

I like this lock better than the Kryptonite I previously owned, a mini Messenger edition with a tire loop, which I lost. This one is big enough to lock almost anywhere, the through-bar design insertion is easier than in the ones with a bent bar, and the carrying clip makes it very practical, though is not easy to install and tends to loosen over time and has to be readjusted every now and then. It’s a little big heavy, it’s not as cheap as other alternatives, but that’s what safety costs.

Length and weight is what I expected. Getting the hang of the key-locking mechanism takes about 2 months of regular use to get the hang of. Too many times I was fiddling with it for about 1-2 minutes trying to get it to unlock.

Lock is good, of course, good brand, heavy, it works. But it was supposed to be new yet came in pieces all scattered, packaging ripped open. Reminded me when I ordered a vacuum from Amazon warehouse and it was full of dirt and hair wrapped around the brushes. Not even boxed, just juggling around inside a too-big box. The former purchaser as well as Amazon didn’t even try. It’s tiresome in a world that often doesn’t even try anymore, but we pay money for the lack anyway. I’ll keep the lock but still…

Cercavo qualcosa per assicurare saldamente il mio Xiaomi mi pro 2 quando non posso portarlo al sicuro con me e sono costretto a lasciarlo in strada. sappiamo quanto facilmente questi mezzi vengano rubati, ma con questo U-Lock sono decisamente più tranquillo.
La solidità dei materiali non si discute, estremamente robusto e le ridotte misure permettono di legarlo a pali o parcheggi bici senza difficoltà , ma al contempo lasciando un ridotto spazio tra il monopattino e il palo stesso impedendo di fatto che i malviventi possano inserire strumenti per fare leva.
La staffa FlexFrame-U è il connubio perfetto, ti permette di fissarlo facilmente grazie allo sgancio rapido e portarlo sempre con te con il minimo ingombro, al contrario dei concorrenti anche la staffa è di ottima fattura con un sistema di aggancio che di fatto azzera le vibrazioni a vantaggio del comfort.
La confezione include una chiave a brugola, unico strumento che serve per il fissaggio e la regolazione, e 3 chiavi (una di queste con luce incorporata).
Il foro in cui inserire la chiave ha una piccola chiusura a scorrimento per impedire che polvere o acqua si possano infilare dentro.
Piccolo consiglio se come me avete uno xiaomi mi pro, utilizzate il montante obliquo per il fissaggio come mostrato nell’ultima foto.
