I had my motor scooter stolen last year. The thief cut the u lock I had on it. So after looking at many reviews I decided to go with this one and a 16mm chain so now the weak point in the slightly “smaller” chain lol. This u lock is massive and very heavy so keep that in mind. But it does fit under my seat with plenty of room for gear. After owning the lock for over a year and having it out in the rain and extreme hot/cold it still functions as if it was new. I do put a drop of 3 in 1 lube in the key hole every few months but its has never given me trouble like other disk detainer mechanisms I’ve had in the past. This lock also has the updated core that has more disks and they tension off a disk father in, instead of the first disk making it harder to pick. But honestly nobody is going to be picking it.

I have an e-bike and so absolutely need a foolproof lock to go with it. This has all the safety features you can think of. It is extremely heavy though, for you race-bikers out there. When a piece broke off (the sliding cover), they offered to send new one for free. Keys also protected.

This lock is thick and heavy. My rating for 4 stars is simply because I wish it was a tad bit longer. I wanted to use this to lock my ebike wheel to the frame. It probably would lock to the bike and post.
The aventon ebike frame is thick and with the fender in the way, to lock the wheel to the bike, I could only lock the back wheel to the “forks” holding the wheel. It’s thin metal so obviously I would’ve preferred that the wheel lock reached the thicker park of the frame. I am still scared to leave my bike unattended.
It is much thicker than my old one.

Es pequeño a diferencia de otros modelos y eso te obliga a ser creativo en la manera en la que aseguras tu bicicleta. Definitivamente es el más. Pesado pero para mi, está perfecto porque, me da una sensación de seguridad en donde sea que ponga mi bici. Tiene tres llaves y una viene con luz. La garantía de por vida es únicamente valida en Canadá y en los United 😂. He visto varios videos en donde sí pueden romperlo pero para eso necesitan algún tipo de sierra. Totalmente recomendable. A pesar del precio elevado estoy satisfecho con este candado.

Das Schloss ist sehr robust und macht einen extrem sicheren Eindruck. (Auch Testberichte die ich gefunden habe waren sehr positiv und überzeugend). Es ist einfach zu öffnen und zu schliessen und auch der Schlüssel macht einen hochwertigen Eindruck. Inzwischen benutze ich das Schloss seit fast 5 Jahren und es ist die ganze Zeit im Freien an einem Unterstellplatz. Einziges Manko ist, dass der Bügel einen recht kleinen Innendurchmesser hat. D.h. man braucht einen Radständer oder eine Anschlussmöglichkeit die nah am Rahmen ist und selbst einen nicht zu dicken Durchmesser hat. Eine Laterne geht bspw. gar nicht. Das ist eine grosse Einschränkung die das Schloss für manche ggf. weniger tauglich macht. Wer grössere Durchmesser sucht und mehr Flexibilität braucht ist vielleicht mit einem Kettenschloss besser bedient. Ein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis hat beispielsweise das Kryptonite Keeper https://amzn.to/3W5sv2G, dass ebenfalls sehr robust und zudem deutlich preiswerter ist (Ich habe dies für ein anderes Rad). Wer es noch sicherer braucht, kann das Abus City Chain Kettenschloss (https://amzn.to/4eKCm5h) anschauen, aber das ist abartig schwer und meines Erachtens nichts für unterwegs.

If you don’t want your bike stolen, get this lock!
When I got this lock, it not only looked like a beast and felt like one, but it also had some serious weight to it. Totally worth every penny—super high quality! With the Fahgettaboudit lock, I feel confident no one can steal my bike. I bought it for my (Lectric) e-bike, and it works like a charm.
I also love that it comes with multiple keys and that you can register them in case they’re ever lost or stolen. A quick note: if I’m going off-roading or don’t plan to use the lock, I take it off the bike because of the added weight.
Overall, 10/10—love it and highly recommend it!

This lock is great at keeping honest people honest, amateur thieves from stealing your bike, but will not deter those with an angle grinder. This is great for someone riding ebikes (as the lock is like 5lbs), locking their bike to pop into stores or eating somewhere, and not planning on locking their bike up overnight.
The lock feels super durable and the three included keys are nice as well.
