    Pros:
Decent sound quality and easy connection to phone.
Built in controls for navigating next/previous tune and raising/lowering volume.
Connects directly to the battery and starter line to only come on with the bike being on so it doesn’t kill your battery.
Built-in USB charger to charge up your phone/device for those long hauls.
Water-resistant electronics are great for all-weather riding.

    Cons:
Not the best at freeway speeds but decent for running around town (in ref. to volume).
Price is a bit high for something that can’t be used for all types of riding.

I put over 20K miles on a bike with one of these and the quality never lessened. There aren’t many cons. I know the sound quality isn’t as good as the Plex but the USB charger makes it blow the Plex away.

Kinda took a chance on this after reading mixed reviews…beyond impressed.

I was between this and the Plex for my FXBB, figured I’d go this route first seeing as the Plex is over a G with marine quality speakers.

Sound quality is exactly what I expected. Nowhere near bagger quality, but audible at virtually all speeds, even with a full face/visor down going 80 on the freeway. If I’m only wearing a half shell and cruising around town, it’s actually too loud IMO.

I do have it inside a fairing though, which definitely helps project the sound back to my head. I can see this not working great just sitting in open bars.

The sound has no bass, but that is by design. To make such a tiny soundbar audible on a motorcycle, it needs to be heavily eq’d towards hi/mids, so the sound cuts through the wind noise. Even baggers have relatively low bass unless there’s a dedicated sub or low-eq’d speaker (usually behind the rider). That’s just how sound works. Motorcycle audio doesn’t thump, you won’t be able to hear it, and the bass will drown out anyway.

Quality audio sources also make a HUGE difference.

I’ve had it side by side with a Plex system and it’s only marginally worse which makes me glad I didn’t drop all that cash on one (the Plex has a bit fuller sound though). I might try adding 2 marine speakers with the amp out at some point to beef up the sound a little.

Install was a breeze, took about 30 minutes. If you can disconnect your battery and lift your tank, you can do this. It just connects to your battery and then splices into an an accessory wire (I used my rear running lights). I ran the wiring under my tank and then up through my risers with the rest of the factory harness. Everything is included.

Only gripe was the mounting hardware and finish is kinda rough – it will easily scratch your bars and the sound bar itself if you aren’t careful. Not really an issue for me, but some people might whine about that. I have some scuffs from moving it around.

Bottomline, if you want decent motorcycle audio for a moderate price that installs in under an hour, go for it. It could certainly be $100 or so dollars cheaper, but there aren’t many alternatives – either super expensive custom-ish solutions, or el cheapo junk that looks and sounds horrible.

Installed and works perfectly on my wife’s Indian Scout! Installs easily between the handlebars and the windshield, if any. Indian includes a spare wire from the ignition. Whatever connector that is fits with the connector provided by Kuryakyn. No manual splicing needed, at least on an Indian bike (and probably most newer bikes). This way, it’s wired into the ignition so the speaker turns off when the bike turns off.

The speaker system includes a USB port for charging your phone or whatever you want to use it for. The sound quality is great to me. I don’t know a lot about sound, I’m not a musician, I’ve never installed aftermarket speakers in a car or truck, I don’t generally jack with equalizers (because stock is fine). I’m not a sound fanatic. To me, the sound quality is better than a lot of motorcycles with fixed fairings that have speakers. Does this sound ok? Yeah, sounds great and rich to me.

We play streaming music and mp3 music, both from a phone. I connected the phone to the speaker over Bluetooth. The Bluetooth connects easy. When I mute my radio on my motorcycle, I can hear my wife’s Road Thunder music from her bike, probably 6-8 feet away. It’s plenty loud and we’ve never had it anywhere near max volume. No complaints. Solid purchase. Sound snobs might find something to whine about, as you can see in other reviews, but I honestly don’t understand what they are talking about.

Installation took almost 90 minutes. A lot of fine tuning, wire relocation, testing, etc. Check YouTube for helpful videos – best advice they give is to hold off on tightening anything down until you’ve made sure it’s secure and doesn’t impede steering, braking, etc.

Recommended electrical connection is past-ignition/ accessory. Finding the accessory wire wasn’t easy on a ’17 Heritage Classic – orange w/ white stripe, buried in the bundle on the right (pipes) side of the battery, 20 minutes discovery time. Note that when wired through accy / ignition, it won’t power down until 30 seconds after main (key / fob) is shut off.

Sound quality is crisp, even at 70 mph (behind a wind screen). Like others have noted, there’s not a lot of bass. Play with your phone’s EQ settings to get a fuller audio mix – R&B sounds decent (on Metallica’s cover of “Whiskey in the Jar”). BT Pairing is a breeze, also has USB and line-in / line-out ports.

Well packaged, easy to install with multiple options. Sound is excellent even at high speed with either open face or full face helmet. Easy operation even on the move.

Didn’t think it was possible to enjoy riding the dyna anymore than I already did but I’ve been grinning like an idiot riding around blasting tunes that I can still hear clearly at highway speeds. Easy to install I know this because even I pulled it off!!! Definitely no regrets with this purchase. If you hear some Johny Cash on your street that might be me!
