Steven Housden –
I have always used the smaller version of this but decided to switch to the larger because I tend to ride with my hands at the outside edge of the grips. It’s more comfortable and gives me more room to adjust my hand while staying on the throttle boss. Great product and looks great

I recently purchased the Kuryakyn ISO grips and wanted to get this Throttle Boss to go along with it. Not only does it look great on the bike it serves its purpose as well. Long rides often numb the hands and this little paddle makes a world of difference in being able to relax your throttle hand. I was shocked at how fast the item arrived at my home..just a few days. I expected it to be several more days when I opened the mail box and there it was. The product comes with 4 extra long screws that it needs for install and that was done within a matter of 2 minutes. MONEY WELL SPENT!

Typical quality for this brand. Fits iso grips like a glove. Comes with longer machine screws. Does it work? Not sure if it is stopping my hand from falling asleep but it gives me alternate ways to keep on trucking while using different positions and bring my hand back to the living. I do like the feel.

Works well. I’ve done several hundred miles already. Very easy to install. But, it has to go with the Kuryakin ISO grip, which is also easy to install on a 2009 Vulcan.
I thought of getting the smaller version of this (the triangular) because if you set it up high it can interfere with how you grab the grip, whereas the small one may not since you have enough of a grip left. This is about 1/4 (or a little less) the length of the grip. I set mine lower (it’s very adjustable) and it’s comfortable.
I have a much more comfortable wrist ride with this. Even the cheap plastic ones that go over the grip cost some $10. Spend a few bucks more (I think I bought this for $15 or 17) and get this one. It’s one-time expense and looks so much nicer.

Fit very nicely on the Kuryakyn 6180 ISO grips. Extra wide palm pad is very comfortable and works great. Degree of adjustment with mounting screws is very helpful since the grip placement is the most important and not always where a single position of the throttle pad would go. Have taken two long trips now with it installed, and although my wing has cruse control, in the mountains that is not practical and the palm control saved my wrist a lot of pain.

Lo regrese porque no se adapto a mi moto
David Ball –
EL único problema que le veo es que la posición ideal para mi queda justo entre dos barrenos de los tornillos, por lo que tengo que ponerlo, o arriba, o abajo…

I’ve been using a plastic Cramp-Buster for a while, and really like the fact that I can loosen my grip on the throttle without having the throttle move when riding on long trips. I ordered this to match my Kury ISO Grips, so I would have a more uniform look, and a throttle assist that doesn’t lose its position like the Cramp Buster (one bump and it spins around).
Install was quick and easy… unscrew the 4 screws on the grip end-cap, put the Throttle Boss in place, and replace the end-cap using the included “longer” screws.
It takes a bit of time to get the Throttle Boss exactly where you want it, but once it is set in the right position, you’ll never know it’s there!
If you have Kury Grips, and frequently ride at a few miles or more at highway speeds (steady throttle position), then you’ll really want to pick one of these up… Contoured (larger one) or the Standard (smaller one)… they make for less fatigue, which means you are able to ride longer!

Don’t have cruise on my bike so hand is always on the throttle, this really gives your hand a rest and lets you palm put in the work. Really helps with long rides, took a few adjustment the first couple times, had to find the sweet spot but once I did it was smooth sailing.

I installed this on my 2016 Road Glide Ultra with the Kuryakyn ISO Grips on 13″ tall bars. Very easy to install, just remove 4 small screws, the throttle boss comes with longer screws to use. The boss has slotted holes so you can adjust to your comfort. It makes long rides easy as you can just rest your hand on the boss and maintain speed. Almost like a cruise control. It looks good with the ISO Grips, and I would recommend these to anyone.

Perfect fit for my 2020 Vulcan 900 Classic. Easy to install even for the non-mechanically inclined like myself.

I bought my bike used and it came with Kury ISO grips and the original (small) 6520 Throttle Boss. I dealt with it, but always felt it was too small to be comfortable for longer than an hour. After a while it almost felt like it was digging into my palm. After a long day of riding I’d had enough. I started researching some of those cheap plastic wrap-around throttle helpers. They all looked ugly…but the extra length and width made me think they’d be more comfortable in the long run.
Then I found that Kury made a “XL” size Throttle Boss, model 6299, called the Countoured Paddle. YES! I couldn’t be happier! It’s nice size, gives plenty of room for your palm to rest comfortably on the grip for hours and hours of cramp-free riding. It cost a little more than those plastic wraps, but the look and build quality was WELL worth it!
I highly recommend moving up to the 6299 Throttle Boss Countoured Paddle if you need a larger surface paddle to help comfort the long rides. I’m attaching a pic of the Countoured Paddle installed on my throttle.
