I’m giving this product a 5 star rating because compared to the lousy Harley stock grips, they are impressive in both looks and practicality.
But from the connecting part, the internal plastic quality could be better. I expected more from Kuryakyn. My right-hand grip had excessive plastic irregularity where the grip fits into the switches housing and I had to file it because it would cause friction.
Other than that, the grips were made with good quality, felt much better than the stock grips, easier to handle, better to hold on with and easier to accelerate, especially as I bought the throttle boss. Those extra 11$ did make a noticeable difference.
Installation was pretty easy and the left-hand grip came with the required glue (so no need to buy separately).
One thing to notice is that you can easily remove the stock left-hand grip without damaging it or tearing it apart like I saw in some videos. You can easily remove them with a screw driver. Search for videos and you will find the way. In the same sense, when gluing the new grip, try to only apply glue from both ends (no need for large quantity of glue) so that you can remove with ease in the future if you need to…

    So there you go…
I would certainly recommend these if you can afford them.
There are other affordable grips that do the same trick out there, but I admire Kuryakyn products as they are well worth their price.

The old grips were getting sticky and worn. These were a nice upgrade to my Sportster, and they look pretty nice, too. They also seem to quell some of the vibration in the handlebars. Their diameter is greater than the stock units, and that took a little bit of getting accustomed to, but no big deal.
Maybe the only thing I’m ambivalent about is the Throttle Boss. It has taken me a while to figure out how best to position it so that it isn’t an obstruction, but is still useful. I’m not there yet. Adjusting it requires a small Allen wrench, but it’s a simple process.
Installation was pretty straightforward, as long as you’re not ham-handed or otherwise mechanically inept.

I looked far and wide for grips with throttle assist that fit my fly by wire 19 street glide. Turns out this company actually got bought out by another company and split up and no longer making hand grips. Only issue I had is the supplied grip glue supplied was all hardened. No biggie I had some here. Love the grips!

I read all instructions, and read the reviews. So I had marked my clutch side with a marker so I knew exactly how far to install the grip before the provided glue stuck. Worked perfectly. The instructions tell you the glue will set quickly (and it does) but if you are ready, and put it on in one smooth movement, you do have enough time to get it on in the right place. I had these same grips on my last bike and still love them. packaged well and shipped fast.

I installed these the day they delivered. What a difference. I knew to use blue loctite on the end cap screws on these for years.

I just finished a 1300 motorcycle trip on my Harley in 3 days. The find that the Kuryakyn grips are very comfortable and look great. Well made product. Installation was easy. The throttle boss was a life saver for long days of riding. Being able to rest palm on the throttle boss eliminated all hand discomfort/cramping. I highly recommend removing the throttle boss (easy to do) when driving around town or short trips because it does get in the way a bit.

Local dealers had these on backorder. Got them here and delivered in days. Easy to install. Looks great. Throttle side is super easy. Clutch side, make sure bar is really clean and dry fit first. When you are sure of placement add the adhesive and work fast. Sets up in seconds.
