I have a 2010 Silverado 1500 2 WD. These struts raised the front 2″ to level the truck and ride great. One hour to install both sides. Don’t pay attention to some of the You Tube videos that have you disconnect sway bars, ball joints etc. Three nuts on top and two bolts on the lower end of the shock and that’s it.

2010 Silverado Z-71 with 200,000+ miles. OEM shocks were completely shot. I replaced the rear shocks myself in my driveway a couple of months ago and intended to do the front struts myself as well but decided to let my regular shop do it since I had to put it in for brake work anyway. Labor to install just the struts and Moog stabilizer bar links https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CE3PA6A/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 , was $600 but I feel like it was better to have by a pro instead of me doing it out in my steep driveway with limited tools and experience.
I can’t believe the difference the new KYB struts made in the ride and handling of my Silverado. It truly rides and drives like it did the day I bought it….maybe better. It now corners with confidence. I am even enjoying going around curves…in a pickup truck!!
If you have high miles on your vehicle, don’t delay, replace worn shocks right away. They deteriorate so gradually that you don’t notice it until it’s so bad the vehicle is horrible to drive.

Perfect fit for my 2008 Silverado 4×4 Z71 crew cab. Removed my OEM shocks at 95K, but should have changed out earlier due to it bouncing all over the place but time was a factor. Install took a couple of hours, taking my time, but once completed I took her out on some back streets hitting several speed bumps along the way then hit the interstate. Night and day difference for the better. Definitely one happy customer…!

Total junk. Harsh ride and noisy. KYB is 10x better quality and ride comfort.
This is a high quality strut well worth the cost.

Searched every Canadian website I could find and this was the best price. Works perfect 0 complaints. Some say this is stiffer and what not, if you need a strut assembly just buy it I found it was good personally. Dont forget stiffer means better handling. I always read reviews before buying. Most of the bad reviews had to do with shipping. My box was a little beat up looking also, however, product was still good and all hardware present. Dont let reviews related to shipping boxes defer you from the actual integrity of the product itself. This is a good product, screw the dealership and overpriced aftermarket garbage at local parts stores that want 500+ for the same product or a product of lesser quality.

Installed easy enough, I also added 1” spacers to level my front end. It worked, my Avalanche looks much better! It also rides and drives better. I live on a beat up dirt road and these struts eat up the holes and bumps. Very satisfied.

Easy to install, ride quality is meh. You notice these are cheap as F struts when you press the brake and the entire truck dives forward.
Should have went with stock. Spring still hasn’t settled, front end is higher than rear. I can’t return them, I wrote an email to Kyb with no response.
I will update the review if I hear back, but please people pass over this cheap stuff.

As advertised, fit great, look great. Came with the upper mount nuts. It however did not come with the bottom mounting bolts. Make sure you have new or your existing are in good shape. The packaging however left a little to be desired. The box was big enough for 2 struts. This caused the strut to flop[ around and the box has hole in it. Luckily the hardware was zip tied to the spring.
