They went on well, to replace my old skins. Hope they last just as long as my old ones! Great product!

Perfect natural skin head

El sonido es muy parecudo al del anterior parche. Visualmente se ve mas “transparente” y no es exacto como la foto pero lo que importa es el sonido.
Dlo62 –
Sound quality, fit and especially sound is what’s important in this business. Trust the leader.

It replaced my LP professional series. It was a step down. Took me a couple of days to wet and give it the custom fitting. Now no problem only if you know how & why to work them to fit and sound.
Dlo62 –
LP is quality, great sound.

Superior quality from the people who know Latin percussion.

I ordered this bongo head Nov 29, 2023 and received Dec 1. I didn’t mount it until January and used it about 8 times in January 2024. Return/refund warranty expired Jan 31. On Feb 6th, while tuning head to play (I detune after every use because weather’s affect) the head just exploded and split down the middle. First time I ever saw a split like that. Normally, a tiny crack develops around the edges of the drum head. LP is now owned by Roland/Drum Workshop. I’ve contacted them and they said ‘sorry, out of warranty’. There is no doubt this head was defective. In fact, the last 3 heads I purchased from Amazon (LP263A) have lasted 3 years, year and a half, and this one 8 uses! I read from other online reviews people feel the skins are thinner and not as good. For all I know, this head could have been sitting around for years in an Amazon warehouse before I got it. I have had LP congas, bongo, stands, cowbell, guiro, maracas & shakers for 25 years. If DW and Amazon are going to continue to sell inferior drum heads and not have acceptable warranty, I’m not buying those products from them anymore. YOU SHOULDN’T EITHER! Other companies sell skin and synthetic drum heads like Remo and Meinl. I’m trying those since DW/Amazon don’t care if I’m a satisfied customer and getting what I paid for.

I have been using LP products for over 40 years and they are the best bongo heads available for any professional.

I LOVE this chai mix because it allows me to set the level of spiciness and sweetness to my preference based on the amount of milk I add (I prefer cow’s + almond).
I also love that I am directly supporting a family-run business in Assam with a long heritage and deep roots there.
