Marwa –
Poor sound
Amanda –
This was a great instrument I only gave 4 stars because one of the panels has a chip and the mallets came bent
Maggie Cline –
I got this for my nephew for Christmas and purchased the chromanotes stickers and books and he loves it. I have the Orff xylophones and my nephews enjoy playing on them, but for a 6 year old I needed something less expensive but with wooden keys and similar sound to my Orff. This is a great beginner wooden key Xylophone. The case is a great bonus!!

This is a gift and I never played this before. But I think the sound is OK..for the price. With balloon mallets it does sound better but I’m not sure which balloon mallets work on this perfectly. I recomend getting with a stand.

I’m a composer, pianist, and music teacher. I got this for my toddlers. They love it, and I find it to be an excellent combination of price, durability, and sound. It’s cheap enough that it doesn’t stress me out when they beat on it too hard, and good enough that the sound isn’t painful.

I liked it best when I put balloons on the mallet, so I bet a rubber mallet would sound nice and less piercing, especially if you have lots of students playing at once.
