So – I am a horrible weed eater. I end up cutting down my plants. Anyway… I don’t have a lot to weed eat so I thought this would be better. AND it is. Works easy… the battery seems to be efficient. It truthfully does not feel like it is going to last a long time. But I kind of wanted to try out this less expensive model before investing more. So far so good. Even though it means I have to get down and crawl around with it – at least I have control and am not chopping down plants I am trimming around. 🙂

I have owned several of this type of clipper. I have gotten rid of all them in disgust.
I don’t have hedges so I can’t speak to that. I use these to trim around perennials, bushes, and tree trunks where a string trimmer is a recipe for disaster. I have osteoarthritis in both hands. These clippers do not require constant pressure on the safety release which was a real problem for me with other clippers. The on button does not require herculean strength which was the other major problem I had with previous clippers.
The grip is comfortable and the battery life has been great. These are my new favorite garden tool.

I received my clippers yesterday and I did use them, and was very happy with the performance. However I charged the unit and went to use them today and it would not run. My husband was able to fix the blades they were jammed for some reason. So I am keeping the product however if it does it again I would expect a full refund.

These clippers zip through the tall grass my husband leaves when he mows around my ornamentals and edges. They are so much more fun to use than grass hand shears. I have arthritis in my fingers and the constant squeezing of the manual models makes my hands ache. Battery life is amazingly long–90+ minutes which is when I get bored or tired anyway. They also easily clip back my azaleas and other twiggy shrubs after blooming. The directions warn against getting dirt in the blades, but I even use them when I am in a hurry to weed; they shear off weeds at ground level. My only complaint is that changing blades is time consuming and confusing at first.

Worked good for about 15 minutes and then all it would do was click. I thought maybe was the battery down. Plugged it in over night and all it would do was click when I went to use it.
