Doesn’t have Wi-Fi though it was not designed for that anyway. It was easy to hookup and has worked well for what I needed it for to add several computers and other items in my computer room to my Verizon Gigabit router downstairs from the 2nd floor of my home.

Work great Thanks

This is probably the best router I have every owned! Setup was straight forward and easy. The web based administrator interface is ver nice and I dare say and improvement over using an IP address to get to the unit. Speed is great. I paired the router with a surfboard broadband modem and my download and upload speeds increased 10 fold. The only real complaint I have with the router is one can’t use MAC address filtering with the AES encryption. Its one or the other. I know MAC filtering is easily spoofed but to me its that added layer of protection of thwart those who really aren’t that interested in getting in. Overall, I really like this unit.

VPN never worked for me.
It’s behind a modem because that’s how routers work, but this router won’t let me designate the IP for my modem so I couldn’t get it to work. Super annoying.
I keep meaning to flash some open source firmware on it but I’m too busy with other projects.

Very Big for an 8 port network switch, i know its meant to be stackable for the WRT1900’s and the 1200AC but i feel like they could have at least made it slim. It stands taller compared to my WRT1900. They do look good when paired together though. This switch functions as it should with no complaints. Sends and receives files at gigabit speeds to different devices on my home network with an 75Mbps internet connection and Qos.

Llego rápido, de buena calidad los materiales y quedo excelente con mi router. Lo recomiendo si necesitas ampliar el número de puertos y mejor aún si tienes un router de Linksys WRT.

Worked well with my existing Linksys equipment and handles network traffic with speed and ease. After about a year of use, the lights on my display were hard to see which apparently is an issue with this product and the WRT1900AC Wi-Fi Router. This however did not affect the performance of the unit.

Great

Great switch. Expensive but beautiful and functional. Well engineered. Goes almost perfectly with my WRT1900AC. My only small and overly picky quam is the lights on the front of the unit are a slightly different hue than the lights on the WRT1900AC. Good job Linksys.

This switch is fantastic! It allows me to keep my network better organized. I connect all my wired devices, including my Access Points, connected to this switch. The switch then connects to the Verizon T1114 router for my outbound traffic. That way, I don’t have the router doing all the work, as well as my ability to expand the wireless network my simply connecting new access points to this Switch. The Gigabit connection is great for connecting to my External Drive and Access point, which both have Gigabit Ethernet ports as well. I can think of nothing wrong with this switch at all!

I’ve been really let down by this switch ($110 at the time of ordering) and it has lasted a little more than a year before failing. I’ve been told by friends in IT that it is an unreliable brand, and wish I would have had that knowledge when I needed it.
Kenz Desai –
Works exactly as one would expect.
It branched off my cablemodem’s 4-Cat5 1GB ports to give me 7 more 1GB ones. I didn’t absolutely need it but it matched my Linksys router so nicely, I just had to have it…and just in case I needed more ports like I occasionally do. The price justified it.

Hasta ahora, ya con varios meses de uso, sin presentar ningún error ni falla con tráfico ethernet Gigabit. Recomendado como un switch gigabit confiable y duradero (no es de uso industrial, es para hogar/oficina/trato delicado).
