I was looking for a major upgrade from the ubiquitous X-style stand that I have always used with my keyboards/digital pianos. Everyone knows what I’m talking about: the wobble, wobble, wobble kind that can almost give you motion sickness. I play classical music so I’m meticulous about my home keyboard feeling like a real piano. I originally wanted a wooden stand, thinking they are more solid than metal stands, but I couldn’t find one that fit my particular model piano, and custom made wooden stands are prohibitively expensive. I’m so, so, SO glad I went for this Liquid Stands stand and bench combo! Playing my digital piano is now pure pleasure knowing my it is going to sit solid as a rock as I play. The bench is comfortable, sturdy, and lightweight, and fits wonderfully under the stand for storage when not in use. The stand and the bench were so easy to put together, I think total assembly time was about 20 minutes for both with the easy to follow instructions included. It’s also very easy to adjust both the stand and the bench with a wide range of height and width to choose from. I just have to gush about how lightweight yet solid both the stand and bench feel. I don’t think I’ll have a problem packing this up and taking it where I need to go. I can tell this set is going to last me years, and it feels great knowing I’m supporting an American business that uses quality, durable materials. Wow, call us impressed!!! Both keyboard stand and its bench are first-class, A-1 quality! It’s so refreshing to discover products that are this well made. In addition, my husband put this together for me and he gave it 10 out of 5 stars (hehe) for ease of assembly—simple, straightforward instructions and super-easy features to customize the fitting to my keyboard and bench height. And little things like the rubber gaskets around the bench legs that double as anti-slip material AND anti-wobble adjusters (if your bench wobbles, just rotate the four gaskets around till you find the perfect combination that prevents wobble) make this an outstanding product at a very fair price.
We have only one objection, which wasn’t enough to remove a star: It’s awesome to include straps to attach my keyboard to the stand. But no instructions were provided, other than “Here are straps, if your keyboard accommodates them.” It took a while and a bunch of trial and error for us to figure out how they worked. I understand all keyboards are different. But maybe a brief description and/or diagram of how the straps would typically fit on a keyboard, with the caveat that “your keyboard may vary,” could serve as a helpful starting point.
With that, we 100% recommend this excellent keyboard stand and bench. Thank you for a great product, Liquid Stands! 👍
