This Logitech H390 headset meets my needs:
1. Mic eliminates surrounding noise:
When I work in the office many of my nearby coworkers (also sitting at cubicles) are on Zoom meetings or collaborating in the open office spaces. The people on the Zoom meetings do not hear the nearby conversations like they do when I use the wired apple headphones or my Google Pixel Earbuds Pro.
2. Comfortable to wear for a long time:
I am generally small person (5 ft 4) and this headset fits my head comfortably. I can wear this headset for 2 hours straight. They are tight so I do begin to feel tightness around my ears after a while because the ear cushion is directly on the ear, not over the ears. I intentionally try not to be in meetings more than 2 hours in a row, but if you are using this headset all day you will likely feel discomfort after a while.
3. Can mute Zoom mic:
This headset has a button on the cable with a red light indicator. When the light is steady, the mic is not muted. When you press the large button, the red light will blink which means the mic is muted. However, on the Zoom desktop client you will not see that the mic icon is muted but the mic is actually muted if the red light is blinking.
4. Plug and Play
No extra software required to work. I just plugged it into USB port and I could use it.

They work great on my PC and my PS5, and it’s very comfortable to wear. Good for basic sound and mic needs.
The sound quality is good. The headphones produce clear, crisp audio that’s perfect for gaming, watching movies, or listening to music. The microphone is also very good. It picks up my voice clearly and without any background noise.
The headset is very comfortable to wear. The ear cups are soft and cushioned, and the headband is adjustable so you can get a perfect fit. I can wear it for a while with no discomfort, but after a few hours my ears can get a little sore being they are not over the ear.
The headset is also very easy to use. It has a simple plug-and-play design, and it comes with a volume control and a mute button.
Pros:
*It has a 2.5 meter (8.2 feet) cable, so it’s long enough to reach your PC or console from anywhere in your room.
*It has a noise-canceling microphone that reduces background noise so you can be heard clearly on calls.
*It has in-line controls for volume and mute, so you can adjust your settings without having to take your hands off your controller.
Cons:
* Your ears can get a little sore on extended wearing (but it’s hours)

Just started a new job a few months ago that’s 100% work from home remotely (awesome right? I know. I’m lucky not having to commute anymore). The main part of my job consists about 4 to 5 hours a day on Zoom/Teams call with clients. Initially I used my AirPods, but having them in my ears five hours a day gets very tiring. I have also tried using my Sony XM4 headphones, and they were a lot more comfortable since they cover my entire ear, but I quickly learned that I actually sweat a lot!!! And it started to irritate my ears as well. Because of the long hours of calls I need to be on daily, I decided to forgo the wireless/bluetooth option and go with a wired headset.
I searched the web and it seems like this wired Logitech headset is the go-to for the best bang for the buck. For just $25, I find they provide pretty comfort over the ear pads without overwhelming my sweaty ears. I can hear perfectly clearly and the best part? My colleagues and clients tell me that they hear me perfectly clear, even when I’m talking at a lower tone/voice than normal. What’s surprising is the amount of actual noise cancellation they provide! After a call, I asked my colleagues if they were able to hear the landscapers outside doing work and to my surprise, all the landscaping noise was blocked out!
Pros: extremely comfortable to wear since the ear cups aren’t overbearing. The noise cancellation is great for a $25 pair of headset. Everyone says the mic sounds great and they hear my loud and crystal clear
Cons: The boom mic is on the left side of my face. I prefer it to be on the right side for some reason. It’s unnatural for me to flip it up with my left hand once I’m done with calls. The boom mic also does not flex. It doesn’t allow you to move it closer or further away from your lips. But the biggest con is that it gets pretty uncomfortable to wear for more than 2 hours with glasses. I don’t know why my big Sony is fine with glasses, but these start to irritate my face when I use them with glasses on. I’ve only used them twice, once without glasses and once with. They are great when I wear contacts. I’m still deciding whether to return them or keep them for days when I have my contacts on.

They do the job perfectly

This is the second set of these headphones that I have purchased in the last two years. The only reason I got the second pair was because my kittens ate through the usb wire on the first pair. My work provides windows based HP laptops and both headsets were plug and play with the drivers loading automatically upon connection to the laptop. The sound is clear on my end, and my co-workers never report issues hearing me on their end. The only downside is that the cable limits you to being close to the laptop that they are plugged into. However, unlike some of my co-workers, I never have to worry about charging batteries. You will have you decide for yourself if you can live with that trade-off. As for me, I am perfectly fine with it.
