I can’t speak to the longevity of this product as I only used as a stop-gap until I could get a ram resealed; however it plugged a nasty leak on the tipping ram of my 32tonne tipper lorry, and after about six repeated tip/lower operations leak stopped completely. I only bought it as a “well it can’t hurt to try” option but was very pleasantly surprised.
