A few things:
You will have to re-engineer your kick pedal situation a little. The riser for the kick is a little cheap. I managed to get a Ludwig pedal to stay put with a little shim and some duct tape.
The wrap is absolutely gorgeous. I have gigged with this a lot in a country band and it has held up very well.
The kick drum can be tuned in various ways and mics up real nice. I replaced with EMAD Evans batter head. Left the OEM resonant head on. It can be used for rock/country and sound great. It can also be tuned high and get a cool “toney” type of sound. Be careful to get the right kind of heads for these – Metal hoops require a tom-sized head I think.
The snare drum is a little meh. Upgraded the heads and it sounds OK. The throw off for the snares is very smooth and quiet. I will replace the snares eventually. I don’t use the snare with this kit much so I’m not putting $100 in it for hoops and snares.
The. toms. are. incredible. You can tune them up, down, and all around and you get volume, control, and brilliant attack. Sizes are good for most styles but I could see where these might not be the best for heavy rock.
The bags aren’t very useful for me – I have cases around so don’t need them. I wouldn’t recommend taking this kit out without cases or padded bags. Throw the provided bags in in your case for extra muffling if you need it.
Overall, this is an extremely fun kit to play. The small footprint lets you get your cymbals as close as you like and keeps you back away from your singer’s hot mics.

Great little kit that is amazing for the cost! The blue sparkle is gorgeous, and will new Evans heads, some mods to the snare (new head, rim, and snares), it really rocks!

For small spaces in gigs or at home, this kit (white sparkle) inspired by Questlove is great. As for comments here about being shocked to not receive cymbals or hardware, it _clearly_ states that you’re purchasing ONLY the drums (and, yes, the floor tom comes with legs) – no kick pedal, no cymbals, no hardware or throne. Gotta read the details. I bought a set of Gibraltar 5700 hardware and bass pedal and nice throne, and then made it an even greater set by adding a Zildjian City Pack (Cymbals -A’s). I will need to upgrade the kick pedal.

As a sound engineer working in a music studio i like to have instruments for my clients play in case they forget their own. I bought this drum kit and was disappointed to find out that there were no cymbals even though they are shown in the picture. While its not very clear in the description that was an assumption i shouldn’t have made. furthermore there is no stand for the snare. I dont see how you can sell a drum kit with no snare stand. lastly There was no seat which i feel comes with most drum sets. This was partially my point for making assumptions but this is definitely not a complete drum set and unless you are about to spend $450 on this kit and then another 400 to complete your kit dont buy this.

Awesome kit!

Wish it was better thatโs for sure. We assemble things all the time with no problem and this was an actual total nightmare. No actual instructions. Three hours and it still wasnโt right.
