The strings sound great, much brighter and louder than my previous ones! They are pretty stiff initially but after just a couple of times retuning them they have held a tune pretty well!
Edmond C. –
This product was great
JTP –
These Lykos cellos strings sound decent but they leave silver residue on your fingers which is difficult to get off. Haven’t seen that with some of my other sets of strings.
Overall, they have good resonance and stay in tune.
Cliff D. –
These string really brought some life back to my cello. Compared to the old ones they have a lot more tone, are a little louder and they over all just sound better.
I like the feel of the strings when I press them against the fret board. They are smooth and comfortable. The strings themselves fit perfectly and I could find no flaws in them.
Not bad for an inexpensive cello string.
I can’t yet speak to how durable they are but based on a comparison to my old strings I expect to get a fairly long live out of them.
If you are a beginning then definitely give these a shot. If you are a more advanced musician then you might consider giving these a try. They’ll do great for practice and you might even find them suitable for a live performance.

Easy to restring.
Kris Tormaschy –
Decent student level strings.
David Eccles –
These strings are designed for student instruments. The a-string has a very metallic and twangy tone.
Marco Forestieri Monterotti –
Excellent product for the price. Useful not only for beginners, it could also be used by students of higher levels.
