Same exact fit and finish as the OEM switch assembly and about 1/4 of the price! Install was easy; the hardest part is removing the left side handle bar grip to slide this on. Fits perfect and we’re back on the trail.

A spring went bad in the other one. Bought this, installed, works perfectly. Easy installation.
To remove handlebar grip, use a small screwdriver to lift up the open end of the grip. Spray some alcohol under it and start twisting and pulling at the same time.

Mati Left Switch Assembly 4011835 works on my Polaris 250 and only costs $22. The actual correct replacement part is the Mati 4011386 which Amazon sells for $35. The difference is that my ATV only has ON/OFF for the headlight while this switch has OFF/LO/HIGH. So for $13 less the only inconvenience is that if I switch to HI the headlight will go off. (Headlight is on with the LO setting.)
Installation was easy:
1. Remove both connectors on the old switch. Connect the new switch and test.
2. Remove the connectors again.
3. Remove the handlebar grip (air pressure in the end helps).
4. Loosen the 3mm Allen screw near the brake lever.
5. Slide off old switch.
6. Slide on new switch.
7. Reconnect both connectors.
8. Adjust position and tighten Allen screw.
9. Test and ride.
NOTE: My ATV starter is activated by turning the key while this switch in the in RUN position.
Many other models have a start function in the switch assembly and operate by pushing up in the RUN position or using a separate button. Make sure you get the correct one.

Worked perfectly. Clean the contacts before plugging plugs back in with contact cleaner or WD . All switches worked as required

as soon as you turn the switch on it cranks the motor which it should not ,supposed to switch to run and push up to engage starter
