Absolutely Amazing Results- KILZ Killed It. After having all new floors installed, we decided to update the paint we had applied 20 years ago when we moved in. We saved this room for last because we were both apprehensive about how many coats it was going to take to fully cover that red. The Kilz reputation led me to this paint, and I really was bummed when I learned that Amazon is the sole source for their “Tribute” line. Not that I have anything against Amazon, I order from here nearly every week (sometimes several times a week). I just felt it was very risky buying paint- it’s heavy and if it were to come open during shipping, it could be something akin to a disaster. Before I select a paint, I have always painted a section of foam core board so I can check multiple locations in differing lights to be sure of the color prior to putting it on the wall(s). Of course, samples were “unavailable” in the colors I was most interested in. After debating for almost 2 weeks, I went ahead and took the chance on the one I thought was my favorite. I ordered 2/25, it was delivered 2/25 in perfect condition. WHEW!Now for the really good news; this paint goes on like a dream, gives excellent coverage (even on the red), and dried to exactly the color I expected. The only prep (other than taping off NO PAINT zones) was brushing the walls with a broom and then filling nail holes with DAP Spackling Compound. We didn’t sand the surface, which was previously a satin sheen, and had absolutely no problem with this paint adhering. ONE COAT COVERAGE!! I’m not kidding, folks. Beautiful color, great coverage. This is an acrylic paint with surprising coverage. Easy to use, a dream to clean. Dries quickly, but great care is required handling the finished item, as even a slight finger nail touch may scratch its surface; once dry, it needs an almost-immediate clear coat to seal/protect.

It is supposed to be Blue. It looks like no color was added. It is supposed to be blue. Not a pale, one can barely tell hint of blue – but – BLUE.Not happy. And now I have to jump through hoops to get a refund or the product I want.0/10 do not recommend.

Amazing Opacity / Hide / Color Payoff – Gorgeous Color – Fair Price. The subject line says it all… Color integrity remains even after curing. I used on furniture (which is normally not advisable, due to a lack of durability with anything more high traffic than an interior wall, but I countered this with a few coats of polycrylic… it’s still not nearly as durable as paint INTENDED for furniture would be, but it cost me a fraction as much – and as long as I’m not rough with it, it hasn’t been an issue).The opacity is seriously outstanding; I was blown away. And you can’t beat the price. I wish I had known about this brand before painting my interior walls; could’ve saved myself time and money.

Excellent paint. Paint goes on smooth and covers very well. We have a historic home built in 1867. The walls are far from perfect…this pain disquises a lot of flaws!! Highly recommended!!!
