Never purchase expensive loose powder again. I have ridiculously dry and sensitive skin and ALWAYS have to purchase the most expensive products, but this powder is different from every other. It’s somehow more fine than the famous powders, it never gets cakey (and I would know – I have to layer a bajillion products over my terribly uneven and acne-prone skin), and it’s perfect for fine lines (which I have because I’m a human). Pray they never change or alter this product as I’d like to purchase it until I die (or until I get my miracle and I don’t have to wear makeup anymore).

The formula for this changed recently. The fair/light one specifically was a little more tinted before, which I loved. It meant I could wear a color corrector and JUST this powder as a weekend makeup. Now it’s just about the same as my banana tinted finishing powder from another brand and its more translucent.l. It still mostly lasts all day and I only have serious issues if I’m more oily than normal with it wearing off.
It’s not a bad price. It works okay. I just wish L’Oreal hadn’t changed it from what it was before.

The Maybelline 15 (Light) is a good color match for the Covergirl 110 (Translucent Light). I like both powders as far as coverage but the Maybelline is a bit more matte it seems. The Maybelline lid locks into place and I don’t worry about it leaking in my bag. The only issue I’ve had with this powder is getting every last bit out of the container…. it can’t be done really. It’s a still a great value for loose powder!
