I’ve used all types of mascaras, expensive, drug store, etc, and had been using Essence for quite awhile however, I found it started smudging on my brow bone. Read in one of these reviews that Sky High didn’t smudge so decided to give it a try. I’m glad I did. Much less smudging and I like the brush type with this product. Sky High does a pretty good job on lower lashes too.

This has been my new favorite mascara. Affordable and works like a charm and no flaking or heavy clumping. Only issue is it does seem to dry out fast and not last as long so I’ll have product leftover but dried up before I use it all. Other than that it’s been great when I do use it before it dries up

I have a complicated relationship with mascara. I don’t exactly love it, but I kinda need it because my lashes are so light blonde that when I don’t wear any, I look like I don’t even have lashes. One complicated aspect of our relationship is either they change, or I do. I LOVED Tightline by It Cosmetics – even wore at my wedding – but they changed the formula and the product was drying up in less than two weeks. I wore the super cheap Essence waterproof mascara for a couple of years, then it started irritating my eyes; they could have changed something, or maybe I developed an allergy; I’m not sure. I even thought I had found a holy grail in Lancome’s Définicils, but then *I* changed my esthetic and decided I wanted to wear brown to meld better with my strawberry blonde hair.

That’s how I arrived here. I watched a strawberry blonde Tiktoker discussing her makeup routine, and she uses this in brown. She said it was a true brown, instead of a black-brown like most mascara companies make – which is kind of insulting to us, the customers who want/need a brown, but the companies think we’re unsure of this and the difference between black and black-brown is not even noticeable when you have it on. 🙄 I don’t know if I would consider this a “true brown”, it’s definitely not black, but it lacks the warmth and brightness of a true brown – like the brown of Cabaret’s mascara (which is beautiful, but doesn’t go on well and clumps terribly). The Sky High has a similar applicator, but the formula is much better – more smooth and creamy and not clumpy at all. It’s also a tubing mascara, which, if you haven’t tried a tubing, you don’t know what you’re missing! It stays put, but comes off with just warm water and a gentle tug. That is the biggest reason I’m giving it four stars: it DOES lengthen a LOT, without clumping or adding too much volume (I’m not a fan of the voluminous mascaras, myself; I prefer one that improves color and definition).

If you like black, or black-brown mascaras that will give you length, without adding volume, and prefer a rubbery, spiny applicator over a thinner brush or spoolie type applicator, this one is for you. I just place more priority on color because I have none on my natural lashes and black can look too harsh on my fair skin and with my light-colored hair.

So, off I go! On my quest for the “perfect” mascara…

I feel like I’ve tried so many mascaras in my life – both high end and drug store and I honestly always keep coming back to this one. It makes me lashes seem like I have extensions on them all day long, it doesn’t smear down my face if I’m sweaty or had a long day at work, and the black truly makes my eyes pop. It is easy to remove at the end of the night and not a mascara you feel like you’re scrubbing your eyes off to make sure it doesn’t smear on your pillow at night.

Amei!!!!! Deixa os cílios bem alinhados, dá volume e alonga. Não deixa bolinhas ou aglomerados. Amei o aplicador.
