Love this school years book! It’s perfectly plain and simple with all the features it needs. The pockets are large and strong enough for a handful of papers each year. I’m also modifying the pages by printing my own questionnaire and gluing it into the book. It looks great and customized just enough.

This is the perfect journal/memory keeper for someone who wants to write very little information, but cares more about keeping paperwork, photos, etc. Other school memory keepers have many more blanks to fill in about the child for each year. However, some do not have the ability to store papers without folding them. This journal can fit papers intact. However, I ended up returning this memory keeper as it was way too simple for my taste. I wanted to record more information/facts about my child for each year, which wasn’t provided here. The binder is nice and sturdy, however. It’s simply up to your personal preference and what you’re looking for.

Came quick and matched the others I bought for my older children. Did come with a cosmetic ring. Not sure if it was shipped that way or happened in transit. Would have preferred it to come without the blemish but not worth returning and reordering.

This is exactly what I was looking for. Straightforward, simple, without cheesy design features. It holds 8.5×11 sheets of paper without folding, and goes from preschool through 12th grade. There is a space to attach the school picture, and fill in details about the child each school year. I bought two of these for the kids.

Being a Mom is a full-time job. You’re the queen of budget tracking and meal planning, juggler of multiple schedules and deadlines, and an all-around miracle worker. And underneath all of that, you are the family historian and memory keeper.
This Mead School Memory Keeper/Organizer (“Organizher”) is excellent for choosing those precious items to keep. There are 14 “pages”. Each is actually an expandable file. Starting with pre-school, then kindergarten, then each of the twelve grades, you have a place for a photo, the school name, the teacher name/s, child age, height, and weight. On the back of the page is room for current events of the year, friend’s names and info, and milestones. Then this whole page expands to hold artwork, pictures, or other small memories.
The whole book is spiral bound; however, the spiral is created so that a page can be lifted out for ease of recording/writing, and then placed back into the book.
The whole thing has a hard cover of cardboard which is coated to resist spills or other damage. The item I have comes in a lovely shade of eggplant purple with a lotus design on the cover, and there is an elastic band to help hold everything together. There is also a label on the front cover as well as the side binding so you can add the child’s name. At 11 ½” tall, it fits easily on most book case shelves.
I liked this one so much, that I got two more so I could have enough for my grandchildren’s keepsakes.
