Medallion Distressed Area Rug, 10′ x 14′

Amazing Rugs! Do Not Hesitate. I needed to replace a rug in my kitchen that has seen better days. I wanted a low pile, inexpensive but nice rug. I also wanted it easy to clean (I have cats. it’s in the kitchen and a high traffic area). So I gave this a shot. It arrive a couple of days ago and I am amazed at the quality. Is it super thick? No and that’s not what I wanted or paid for. This rug is PERFECT! Smell was normal for a new rug, it unrolled easily and the edges laid flat in a day or two. Unlike some rugs that take forever or never lay flat.The softness is just unreal. I cannot get over how SOFT these rugs are. They are so soft my cats were rolling around all over them as if I threw catnip all over the place. These rugs are CAT APPROVED! Also, for those of you who do have cats, the piles on the rug are NOT loops so when kitty starts scratching it, it won’t hurt it.Now, the color was spot on! I LOVE the color. It looks new but also vintage at the same time. I purchased a 5×7, 3×5 and 2×4. Knowing these rugs were not super thick, I ordered some Mohawk rug pads (these are also awesome and my go to rug pad). Rug pads increase the life of the rug, provide slip resistance and add that plushy thick feel under foot. So don’t skimp on rug pads!In conclusion, I am extremely happy with this purchase. It made me angry with how much I paid for another rug set from a local store that was suppose to be “discounted”. I could have saved myself hundreds of dollars if I just came here first.I will be purchasing more for my dining, living and sunroom! Excellent quality product and worth every penny.Thank you!

NO ODOR, GOOD QUALITY RUGS. 11/2020This forest green/ light blue/ orange 6ft runner gets walked on daily. The busy pattern definitely helps it be the perfect choice for high traffic areas. Besides being near my front door, it lays in front of my 72″ tv cabinet, which is “teal green”. The colors go well together.1/2024 UPDATE: Now a little over three years old,still looks great.Last year, I ordered a second runner for my hallway, and opted for the ‘turquoise’ I thought it, and the ‘forest green’ looked so similar online that I just had to find out. They actually ARE very similar. The tourquoise is a little more dense in color. But not by much! You could get by with one of each in the same room, if necessary. I don’t think anyone but you would know the difference.2/26/24 UPDATE: I bought my third rug. The 4ft x4ft square rug looks great under my 30 inch “round” coffee table. I bought a rug pad and that is working out nicely. I’ve not needed rug pads under the runners. But I read somewhere that padding extends the life of rugs, so I’m thinking about getting pads for the runners, also.2/26/24 I bought Rug #4, last week. The 3ft “round” forest green/light blue/orange looked very small so I measured and discovered there was 2.5 inches MISSING!The rug came haphazardly rolled, and in a strong plastic sleeve of sorts.. It was a job getting it rolled up, taped, and back in the sleeve, because that small rug was not very flexible. I ordered another of the same, hoping it will be the correct size of 36 inches. Verdict is still out, since it has not yet arrived.I did ‘Live Chat’ to return the 3ft round, because it was not convenient for me to return by way of going to UPS. Kohls seemed simple enough, and I felt the rug was small enough. Was told Kohls was not an option. ‘Live chat’ took some time, and then was told UPS would pick the rug up at my house, no charge, but, in order for that to happen, I needed to talk on the phone to Amazon. So they called me, and we got it worked out that UPS would come by today sometime to pick up the rug.(I spent at least an hour on Chat and phone getting the return taken care of, but Amazon reps were very nice).WILL LET YOU KNOW IF THE REPLACEMENT IS SHORT IN SIZE, ALSO. Update 2/27…IT WAS ALSO SHORT IN SIZE. I sent it back. Did not reorder.A lot of trouble over a little rug. But I have been very pleased with the first three rugs.P.S. There was/is NO smell of any kind with these ‘Monaco’ rugs. I removed one star due to being shorted 2.5 inches on this last rug.

RUN, don’t walk! You will be glad you bought it!For $90CAD, you literally cannot go wrong with this! It is beautiful, the colours are ever so slightly less vibrant than in the photograph but let’s be honest, we all expect that nowadays anyway. Maybe pop a bookcase or something heavy down on the inside rolled edge, because it doesn’t want to lay down flat. It’s not as stubborn as it could be and should lay flat after a few days of counter weight.It just arrived today so I don’t know how well it cleans up. But it feels very durable. It’s obviously not plush, but it’s quite soft for what it is. I thought it’d be a lot thinner – like a bath towel – for the price, so I am pleasantly surprised at this beautiful, durable rug. 🙂

Beautiful. The media could not be loaded.  Stunning, easy to spot clean, very soft, no wrinkles, unrolled very easily and laid down flat. Also seems to be very stable as far as the threads and backing go. About 1/4 inch thick. Love it so far!

Buy the rug. The rug is soft, easy to vacuum and easy to clean. The colors are vibrant and true shades of color. If you are a lover of the color purple then I suggest you buy the rug.
