Meguiar’s Hybrid Ceramic Liquid Wax – 16 Oz

This ceramic product is different than other liquid and paste products I have used. Per directions a thin coat is applied one section at a time. Then wiped off before moving to the next section as it dries quickly this wasn’t a problem. It doesn’t form a haze like other products. It was easy to apply and remove leaving a super shiny finish. Now 3 weeks later and needing a wash, the shine still ones through. This is a terrific product.

Always used and trusted Meguiar’s for over 30 years. Used it on show cars. Never disappointed. Was looking at their car wax to find the prices shot up. Thought I’d try the ceramic. The good and bad. The good news is after 6 months of sitting outside water still beads and car shines like the day I applied it. Ceramic is easy to apply. Make sure it is out of the sun or a good cloudy day. Apply one panel at a time. Fender, door, half the hood or roof. There i a timing required between application and wipe off. Apply to the fender. Wait about 1 minute and check to make sure you didn’t miss any spots. Apply to the door. Go back and wipe off the fender. Easy as that. Always use clean rags. I started out by trying a tack rag to remove dust but saw tack rags leave a bit of residue behind. Switched to just a clean rag for final dusting. I bought the car used and suspect there is already a ceramic coating in it locking in fine scratches. I tried the buffer with the fine black pad on the trunk. Polish was getting spattered everywhere. Switched to had rub and remove with a cloth. Wish I had the old number 7 Seal and Reseal. Used that on my black Challenger for car shows and I know that fills in the smallest scratches. I went with No 3 by hand. I watched videos with clay bars and stuff. All you need to do is remove all the dust withing seconds of applying the ceramic. A clean rag will do that. No dust in my ceramic but still have the super fine scratches. Problem with new cars is there is 1 coat of clear. I know because I went through it in 1 spot trying to take out a scratch by hand. What a pain. Used to custom paint cars. Used 4 coats off clear. 1 coat to wet sand and buff. Never went through the other 3 coats after years of hand cleaning and a 2nd and 3rd buffing. Meguiar’s wax is better for filling in those minor scratches but you do not want to apply ceramic over wax. It defeats the purpose.

Realize el proceso de pulido y revivir el brillo de la pintura de mi vehículo con pulimento y el compund de la marca y si la pintura realzó en brillo y color y así mismo eliminé parte de las imperfecciones que se percibían sensiblemente que fue totalmente notorio pues tras aplicar la cera y permitir el proceso de tiempo que marca para el l curado de los 5 minutos pues aún más realzó color brillo y textura de la pintura y no tan solo eso , los plásticos de las molduras, cromados, cristales de los faros y micas de las calaveras y más revivieron y se protegieron de una manera práctica y natural, el proceso de aplicación es muy práctico como una cera de carnauba y retirarla también de una manera suave y sencilla y está cera rinde demasiado, a diferencia de otras ceras está no genera una capa blanca solo percibes que la aplicaste porque se ve un poco opaca la superficie.
Algo que note un día después que la aplique fue le callo en una parte excremento de pájaro y el removerlo técnicamente fue pasar el dedo y se removió cómo simple polvo, técnicamente nunca se adhirió , casi con soplarle se hubiera removido.
Más tarde note un pequeño punto en una área del vehículo, así mismo pase mi dedo y era excremento de una mosca mismo que tampoco se adhirio a la pintura como normalmente se adhiere .
Hasta el momento no he mojado hasta el momento no he mojado el vehículo pero con esto está comprobado como puede repeler entonces el agua y el polvo y entonces porque el término de Cera Cerámica. Yo aplique 6 meses antes la cera Ultimate de esta marca y la verdad muy buena pero está es totalmente diferente, y superó todas mis expectativas.

This stuff is awesome. I tried some Chemical Guys’ Hydro Slick (after claying the paint) prior to this and did it by hand and you could see the application marks where I applied the Hydro Slick.

Despite the car always having been garaged, after about a week I couldn’t stand the application marks anymore so I then used some Meguiar’s Cleaner Wax and bought a buffer to remove the application marks, then applied this Meguiar’s Hybrid Ceramic Wax — and suddenly I could see the metal flakes in the paint really pop! When I used the Hydro Slick, that didn’t happen (I have a 2013 Subaru Legacy Limited with 50K miles). Maybe it was because I applied it by hand and without a buffer but I think it is due to the quality of the Mequiar’s. Thirty years ago I owned a very successful car detailing business so I think I’m a good judge of materials since I’ve detailed many hundreds if not thousands of cars (I don’t have any of my equipment left which is why I decided to buy a buffer). This stuff is cheaper than the Hydro Slick and does an amazing job! The metal flakes really shine through now and it now has that wet appearance that everybody likes. I seriously doubt that a $1,500 Ceramic coating from a detailing company could make it look any better. The car is 11 years old and when I drove by my neighbor he said “Did you buy a new car?”.

Just be sure to apply this with a buffer. The fact that I could see application marks could be a function of the ceramic nature of the coating and not anything in particular with the Chemical Guys’ Hydro Slick (so those still might appear if you applied this Meguiar’s by hand). Still, the wet appearance and the appearance of the metal flakes just wasn’t there with the Hydro Slick like it is with this Meguiar’s. I rarely leave reviews but decided to this time because of the great results.

I bought a new F250 long bed 4 door 6 months ago Antimatter blue metal flake paint color. Basically dark blue metal flake. Started doing research about best waxes and such. I decided on Meguiar’s products. I followed all instructions and even watched a video. Washed truck and dried, Then I polished with Meguiar’s G19216EU Ultimate Car Polish Pre-Waxing Glaze. Now this stuff is tough to use, don’t let it dry or it will be a workout to remove. You put it on and take it right off maybe a couple minutes at the most. Do not do it in the sun or when it is warm, I did all my polishing in the morning early while cool and in the shade. I did all polishing by hand as the electric buffers worry me when it comes to swirl marks. After all polishing complete I applied the Meguiar’s Hybrid Ceramic Liquid Wax. This was the easy part wipe it on and per instructions I would leave on between 3 to 5 minutes. 8 hours of washing, drying, polishing and waxing, it is a big truck! My truck looks better than when I picked up at the dealer. Deep deep shine like a mirror and the finish is super smooth. As usual, it rained that night but the water practically ran of the truck only a few beads on flat surfaces. So a lot of work but the more effort you put into something the better the result. I will continue to use this product as I got excellent results.

どちらとも、作業性は同じで、楽ですが、耐久性・水弾きは、Meguiar’s Ultimate Liquid Wax のほうに、軍配はあがります。

香りは、メロンのような匂いです。Ultimate Liquid Wax　をリーズナブルな価格に設定した印象の商品でした。
