I absolutely LOVE this percussion Jingle Stick! I normally play tambourine in church, but I have had carpal tunnel surgery once already and therefore get a lot of pain and cramps from playing. This jingle stick is perfect! I can grip the handle much easier, which is a more natural grip for the hand as well. It has a nice padding on the stick that looks nice. I also love the mixture of steel and brass jingles. I can change the sound back and forth from a brassy sound to a more tinny sound, depending on how I twist or clap the stick. I absolutely LOVE this and Highly recommend it for all percussion players looking for another way to play tambourine!

very nice sound, not quite a bright as the all steel jingle, the brass jingles on this model smooth out the sound. They tambourine of this same configuration is an excellent favorite as well.

You can achieve two distinct and different sounds depending on whether you shake it up and down or left and right.

To me, most tambourines are too jingly so I like this as it has a more musical sound. The thin little cymbals on cheaper tambourines sound too thin and cheap. If I need an even thicker sound than this gives me I just layer this one on a second and third track, using the two different sounds and it sounds great. These cymbals are very musical.

I ended up giving Meinl percussion as Christmas gifts last Christmas. They are relatively inexpensive and were a big hit with those who received them. Meinl is a German company so you can expect the quality to be very high.

I wondered if this product would produce a good and loud sound. I was impressed with the weight and comfort, design and sound. It gives off a very nice sound for its size. This is a gift for someone else but I believe they will enjoy it! Great Buy!!!
