Item shipped timely and in good condition. The Brass jingles work just fine. I was a little rough on a Meinl dual-alloy recording tambourine that had the nickel plated steel + brass and had to replace it. I’m in a lofi band and the brass suits my purpose just fine but is missing the depth and dynamic of the dual alloy. THAT’S the jam.

Beautiful and well made.

A bit too heavy to hold in the hand for me and not really ergonomically fitted. My hand tires easily after a few minutes playing this one! Perhaps, this would suit a male player with a stronger grip? The sound is a too brassy, dry and a bit clang- y in sound. (should have tried a steel/brass zil combo instead). The only feature I do like is that it is sturdy wood, and appears that it would last a long time.

Lovely tambourine, beautiful clean sound. Much nicer than the steel one I sent back. Not too loud as to disturb the neighbours. Beautifully made. Looks great and not heavy.

To a musician, sound reproduction is paramount. There are many tambourines on the market but each with a different sound dependant on the tune played to and also the feel (comfort of handling). Weight too is important. Too heavy and it can become tiresome and painful on the hands. A bit on the heavy side, for small hands. the brass jingles on this tambourine are pleasing to the ear and not at all tinny sounding. Beautifull quality and well made. Real wood (hence the weight) beautifully, highly varnished rich colour. The cymbals are brass which accounts for the resonant sound. Not a toy, a proper instrument.

un son de pro
tambourin léger et surtout un très beau son pour accompagner en rythme votre guitarre
Sam Moss –
Brass jingles have a great tone; not too crazy loud and ear piercing like double row brass jingles can be.

Tiene mucho sonido armonico y el parche me llego muy flojo, no se si por el trayecto se humedecio, y llego con rallones

This was supposedly a brand new tambourine and tags are still attached however it arrived stain, filthy and disgusting. I was shocked to receive a product as such. I attempted to reach out to the seller, however the seller has not responded
The tambourine itself has a nice sound, but would recommend purchasing elsewhere.

This thing has a nice sound but when getting into it and banging away the darn thing starts breaking up right at the points that are drilled for a metal pin to hold the brass ‘jingles’. I thought I had gotten a bad one and ordered another one and wouldn’t you know it a hard rap and it broke also. I duct taped the second one up and just started to play it a lot more gently. Rather disappointed in the material it is made of as it is NOT wood but some kind of composite stuff.

Gut verarbeitet schöner warmer Klang der Messing -Schellen nicht so,, Schepperig” wie bei Schellen aus Stahl. Freue mich schon drauf das Teil zu benutzen.
