I have used this to remove and replace lug nuts on several trailers. I have used it to remove stubborn bolts on my HD. I used it last weekend to remove the 185 FT Pound tight and Red Locktighted end nut on my HD Crank / Stator shaft 2x this last weekend, and it just twisted it right off, no delay, no problem. I used it on the clutch hub nut also, and it just spun it right off. This is an amazing tool. It is unbeleiveable how far we have come with battery operated tools in the last few years. It is very heavy for it’s size, but it’s size is very small for it’s power. The adjustable speed / tourque settings are actually very useful. I thought they’d be a useless option, but being able to lower the tourque and impact speeds actually is very nice. I would Highly recommend this tool to ANYONE looking for a 1/2″ Portable Impact. I have used it as described above, and haven’t even lowered the battery one “light” on the power indicator, and only charged the 5.0ah battery I purchased to run it, once, before ever using the tool. My 3 issues with this tool, and I gladly accept these, are 1: It is very expensive and like most Milwaukee battery op tools does NOT come with batteries, which I guess keeps the price down? because the LI batteries are very expensive to make? I dunno, I still think it is very expensive and should come with at least one battery, 2: It is VERY HEAVY for it’s compact size, it feels like you are holding a Gold Brick in your hand. (And It Costs As Much Too), 3: The “Reverse” button on the handle is placed in a spot that makes it very easy when dealing with high tourque items to accidentally push it in with the web of your thumb while holding on to the trigger. This could be dangerous, and makes it easy to accidentally reverse the direction between bolts and actually tighten when you want to loosen, making it very possible to break off a bolt in the hole by over tightening it. They should find another location for the button, or put some kind of rib below it to prevent this. Short and long of this….. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT, AND WOULD BUY IT AGAIN, WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO A FRIEND, and throw it at an enemy….. (heavy enough to cause serious physical harm!)

This impact is a beast. I bought it to rotate my tires at home so I didn’t need to bring home my Snap On/Matco impact. Depends on what you need it for the 3/8 Milwaukee with 550 ft lbs will do the job of rotating tires and it was $169 when I bout it later.

The size of it is quite large and heavy so be prepared for that but OH MY GOSH, best money I ever spent, it’s durable (dropped it in a whole bucket of transmission fluid in accident, still works!) and is far more powerful than any impact I’ve ever used. Also 6.0 high output batteries work nearly just as well as forged batteries but half the price!

This thing is a beast! It is not meant to be used on many things due to its size and power, you will use it on specific jobs that requires an out of the ordinary power, to unbolt rusted nuts and screws, every time I needed serious torque, I was glade to have it, a must if you work a lot on vehicles and machinery

I absolutely love it, but it’s too strong at times lol, it’s stronger and shorter than previous generations, the lights on the face come in handy, more so than others I’ve used, including the screwguns. I am a mechanic, and this gets used constantly, so I’m not saying this lightly, I absolutely do love this thing, and I’ve yet to come across a bolt this won’t take off/break off. It’s stronger than any of the similar air tools I’ve used. I do hate the nut driver feature though, but whatever, it’s probably useful to someone.

First I bought this to replace my Dewalt impact. It’s heavier than dewalt but it sure does remove lug nuts off f350 and for smaller vehicles no problem. The only thing you need to watch is when you reinstall lugs back on will be torque setting. In can break studs.

I have the gen 1 and gen 2 versions of this impact and they have been great . This one definatly has more togue in reverse than the older ones. Nice impact . Time will tell if it holds up aswell as the previous versions. So far it works well . And the new design for the battery mount look good and seam to work well
