So the product is well made and looks fantastic. It works well and had no issues reaming out the ID of PVC. Its not a bad deal for the price and quality but unless you’re going to use it repeatedly it may not be worth the value for everyone.

This set can be a life saver! So far, I’ve only used the 2″ size and it worked perfectly. In renovation work, I run into a lot of situations with PVC lines. The set allows me other options when extending and re-routing drain lines. I am able to use my Dewalt 20V drill successfully with this set, so this makes it very portable. The set comes with a nice case and an Allen wrench to replace the cutters. I wish I would have had this 30 years ago!

Im a full time construction plumber and this reaming set has came to the rescue a handful of times in the short period that ive had it. They are well made and this set come with all the sizes youll need. Definitely worth it! Saves me money on extra material 😌

Sometimes, when pipes are broken you need to install a new pipe but getting a clean edge is difficult, to the point sometimes you feel like you need to replace the entire thing. But that costs much more and adds a lot of unnecessary work. A reamer that fits the pipe lets you ready the old one efficiently so you can install the new one. So this is a very useful, economic tool to have if you fix houses. But the quality is very important, as it has to cleanly shave off and prepare the pipe. In that aspect, this is an excellent tool set. Use a drill and within minutes you have the conditions to install a new pipe. Just be careful to use to carefully til you’ve adjusted to the torque and speed. I didn’t have good first impressions as the plastic case came covered with dirt, but the quality of the tools themselves won me over. They’re solid and well made, and work like a charm. And the case makes a nice place to store them neatly til you need to use them.

First of all, I love the color aluminum used for these PVC reamers. They use a carbide square tip for the cutting blade. It can be rotated to use each of the four corners. An Allen wrench is included to do that. Each size has it’s place in an injection molded case. Makes it great for portability and storage. It takes a long time and not a lot of pressure to slowly ream the pipe. It’ll get the job done but how much time are you wasting doing it? I used this for one pipe, and now I have if I ever need to use it again. So useful for the once in awhile DIY person, otherwise get a more expensive tool to do the job.

I’ve used these to save myself a few bucks by reusing some PVC fittings as well as saving myself from cutting into my sheetrock wall to salvage a pipe extension that was too short. Be aware that it will grab and twist with a lot of torque, so keep a good grip on the drill. Also, if you don’t keep it straight, it will eat into the fitting that you’re trying to reuse. I recommend a good heavy duty PVC cement that’s thick enough to fill voids and scratches in the fitting.
