I was hesitant to buy this mainly because of the price and I’ve always associated “gig bag” with cheap and poor protection vs a hardshell case.

Put your fears to rest because this is the real deal and it’s built like a tank with a TON of padding.

I always take 2 guitars to a show so being able to carry both in 1 trip in addition to all my accessories, mic, go pro’s, etc in the Tick bag has resulted in a single trip from car to stage.

When fully loaded, the bag+tick are pretty heavy but overall it’s fairly well balanced if you’re using the backpack straps but a bit too much trying to carry with the side handle.

Convenient to carry two basses. I wouldn’t be throwing the case around with my axe in it but the padding is very good. Pairing it with the Tick case helps with extra storage for pedals or extension cords. Also at first I didn’t realize there is a sleeve where you can pack your sheet music/magazines/etc. Very handy.

The only downside is it is heavy when it is packed with two basses, pedals and cables. Depending on what I put in resulted in a total weight of 35-40 pounds.

Lately my family & I have been buying everything from Amazon; the price is usually the lowest, haven’t been scammed on any merchandise’s quality, and it’s shipped to my door…think I’ve gained weight b-cuz I don’t have to walk the malls anymore.

I bought this for my son, he needed it and it’s a winner! The design of the straps make it hang on your back a few inches lower than other manufacturers’ gig bags, so the headstock portion doesn’t get banged into doorways (unless you’re a 6’4″+ guitar player). Also it fits closer to your back, so there isn’t that huge space between the bag and your shoulders, and you take up a little less room space; and if a bag is further away from your body, the leverage from it being far away ends up pulling your shoulders backwards. Mono’s got a great design team, they seem to have all the pockets you’d need, and construction’s excellent with good, sturdy zippers. I bought a “used” one at a discount off regular price from Amazon and when it arrived, it appeared to be brand new & unused in the factory plastic bag with all the factory tags still on it! That’s a good deal in my book!

    📦 POINTS POSITIFS / NÉGATIFS 📦
    —————————————————-

This case is incredibly sturdy and light for a double guitar case. I have more than enough space for the extras that most guitarist carry on a daily basis. I would recommend this case to anyone.

Great case! I’ve been putting my Gibson Custom Shop R6, Gretsch G6659, Tele, Strat, etc. in it and it has done a great job. Super comfortable to carry and load guitars in and out. I thought it was a bit expensive for what it is but it really is a great case and easily holds 2 guitars very well.

The media could not be loaded.

I was worried when I ordered this bag that my Gretsch Electromatic wouldn’t fit in it, but it slides right in with room to spare! Other reviews have said it, but don’t let the fact that this is a “gig bag” keep you from buying it; Mono did well to put in plenty of padding so that your gear is protected. I’ve had backpack straps on cases in the past that just weren’t great, but these are positioned perfectly, feel very thick, and are properly attached so that they will hold up over time. The zippers seem to be very heavy-duty, so I’m hoping they help keep water out during a rainy load-in, but if they don’t I’ll come back and update this review.

    Dear Amazonians,

Let me qualify this review by stating I’m a professional bassist with over 25 years of ‘live’ music experience.

This is the best gig-bag I have owned to date. Apart from its good looks, this gig-bag is built well, is nicely padded inside and rugged enough to withstand the kind of wear and tear associated with frequent gigging.

My suggestions for Mono would be to add more storage compartments, another handle just above the main pouch to make it easier to maneuver when laid flat and finally, thicker padding for the shoulder straps.

Overall, it’s a little pricey but certainly a high quality gig-bag that deserves credit.

    Regards,
    JoJo

Best Case I Own. I trust this case more than my hard shell cases. I gig locally so my gear only goes from my home studio to the rehearsal room to the gig so the hardshell case comparison may not be apt. My guitars aren’t subject to airline luggage loaders. That said, I cannot say enough about the engineering that went into this case. Plus there is no shortage of pockets and slots for tools, string, cables, straps etc. The patented neck support system is very well though out.

I hesitated on buying this case because it costs more than a few of the guitars I own but I’m sold. I have not hesitated to put my Taylor acoustic and any one of my high end electric guitars in it. This case is expensive but worth every cent, top to bottom, inside and out. These Mono cases are much lighter than hardshell cases and more than adequate for the “gigging around town” musician. I highly recommend this product.

Having being able to take two guitars to a gig with once case is amazing. I play with artists who have different tunings so having the two guitars on hand is a bonus. Lots of pockets and storage for picks, capos etc.

This is a very well made case! Everything about it is of very nice quality, right down to the zippers (smoothest zippers I’ve ever experienced!)

For perspective, I am toting a Line 6 JTV 59 Variax (size and weight comparable to Les Paul) and an EVH USA Wolfang. Both guitars fit extremely well inside the case and while both guitars are heavy, using the case’s built-in shoulder straps make carrying these heavy axes a breeze. Plus it frees up both hands so I can push my cart at the same time.

The front pocket easily holds the straps for both guitars, a small towel, some string cleaner, extra strings, and a plastic container I use to hold my picks, slide, capo, wireless guitar transmitter, a couple of Allen wrenches, and tremolo bar for the Wolfgang. I actually have room for more stuff but, this is all I’m carrying in it. Maybe way too much info for most, but trying to give you a feel for what this bag can carry.

We’re often in very tight spaces so I like using this type of guitar case because I can get my guitars out while standing up. I don’t have to look for a place to lay a hardshell case down. The case is generously padded, enough so that I trust carrying my $3K Wolfgang in it.

    Veramente SODDISFATTO
Tempo di spedizione e consegna PERFETTI.

If you need to haul two basses to a gig, look no further! The M80 does the trick. Make no mistake, you’ll be hauling some weight, but the bag does a nice job of evenly distributing the weight. The shoulder straps, handles, and breast straps are well constructed. The pockets are excellent for storing cords, charts, pedals keys, etc. The zippers function well and are easy to operate, but I was expecting both sides to top load like the Mono Vertigo Bass case. They do not. The full-length molded rubber outsole is not a feature, but I wish it were since it would better distribute the weight while the case is standing and loaded with my instruments. Instead, there are two rubber patches at the bottom that don’t feel as stable. Finally, and most importantly, the M80 secures both instruments well, and the neck strap minimizes movement. All in all, I am very happy with the quality of this case, and I would confidently recommend it.
