Easiest way to replace strut and the ride is great.

Great struts… they were easy to install. My car now sits about two inches higher. I no longer get the sloshing feeling when going over bumps. The new struts are stiff (can feel small bumps), but it was time to change them out. These should last a very long time. There were several good youtube videos. Changing all four struts took ~5 hours.
** Trick: when installing front struts, align pin on the strut with the slot on the collar before connecting the bottom of the yolk **

My 2006 Accord runs like a champ but the front shocks were totally blown. If you’re bouncing around out there, and messing around with other suspension components like ball joints, don’t neglect your shocks and struts. It drives like a different car now.

Great Struts!!!! My car runs way much better. Better to buy it in Amazon than the store. The only problem is that the NUTS that comes with it are different.

I decided at 145K miles on my 2007 Honda Accord that I would rather replace the entire assembly rather than just the internal shocks. If you have basic tools, a bit of patience and a modicum of experience with auto maintenance, you can do this. The shocks came well packaged, but be sure to inspect the possibly-bent vulnerable top studs on the new parts BEFORE you remove your old struts. The only oddity about the process was that the enclosed replacement nuts for use at the top of the strut were non-standard size. The OEM nuts are 12mm and 14mm. Monroe enclosed nuts of 13mm and 15mm??? They fit the studs fine, but were a different size?? Since they are not Ny-lok, I chose to re-use my OEM nuts. I’ve never before seen an OEM replacement part that changed the size of the fasteners. The price here was a good deal, much lower than my local parts store.
