Great struts what a difference in replacing 14 year old struts, I recommend changing all at the same time, makes my Honda CR-V drive smoother, balanced, & handles bumps steady with no swaying or wobbly.

the mount for the ABS line was different then the old one. I had to use a tie rap to fasten it. Aside from that the install went well and the strut fits.

Unfortunately after just 3 years of installing new Monroe Quick Struts at each corner of my 2003 Honda CRV 3 of them have completely blown out. 2 of them leak oil and one of them has a spring that’s starting to shed its lining. I do not live in the rust belt or a location that uses salt and I drive less then 8,000 miles a year. Adding insult to injury I cant claim a warranty because I purchased these through amazon. The Monroe website said that to honor the supposed warranty they must be purchased through an authorized dealer and not online through a marketplace. Even if they did honor their warranty id have to pay to ship the struts myself which would cost a fortune. Also while the struts are in the mail and you are waiting you’ll either not be able to drive your car or you have to just buy new struts anyway, in which case replacement struts are pointless. These struts are a JOKE! The warranty is a JOKE! This company is a JOKE! DONT BUY!

same as the review that i left for the other side. good fit, rides nice, easy to install, no problems so far. seems to be a good bang for the buck. didn’t want to pay for oem, and didn’t want to go cheap either. happy with this one.

Installed a set of Monroe Quick Struts on my 03 CRV as a last resort to fix a clunking noise when hitting bumps. Already replaced LCA bushings, sway bar links and bushings, ball joints. The noise was gone for about 4 months but has returned. I suspect the top mount of the passenger side strut has failed. Debating if I want to tear it down to inspect knowing I’ll have to pay for another alignment, or just deal with the annoying noise for a while.

These also ride much harsher than the OEM struts.

Would pay the extra money for a quick strut instead of disassembling the old strut and reusing the spring and bearing. Worth the money.

This was a fast and easy replacement on a 2002 CRV. unfortunately it did not fix the rattle, I threw enough parts at that POS car and traded it in for a new Toyota van for the wife. Its easy enough to change though, If I had planned on keeping the car its always best to change both sides at the same time. It took me about 30 minutes to do in the driveway during the cold weather…

These struts went on without a hitch. For those of you who struggle with aligning the bolt holes, there is a trick.

When installing the new struts you need a helper, that will make your life much easier. You bolt up the top first LOOSELY then you move to the bottom two and insert the bolts, then you tighten everything up. If you do it this way there shouldn’t be any prying needed.

Back to the review, the struts function perfectly and there were no surprises.
